Heartening to read some optimistic thoughts on the way ahead. Like others I;m sitting on nasty losses. The Board though
also seems to be retaining a sense of optimism. Despite capitalisation having reduced to around £275M I still count ten or
so executive Chief Officer posts remaining plus the Executive chairman all no doubt continued to draw down salaries commensurate with their elevated positions.

has continued to edge up nicely in recent weeks. like other posters have visited outlets which
are bustling with business. been a long slog back from its disastrous flirtation with dodgy financial deals when the Board never understood what it was doing. With a good run up to Xmas fingers crossed that the upward trend continues.

helx. you're not the only one believe me. Other posters have said we should have seen this coming and bailed out
years ago - hindsight's a wonderful thing. Once a share starts to slide it just ain't always that easy to slide out nursing
losses. good luck!

Thanks for your investing Masterclass. We don't all possess your razor sharp brain and acuity in
making investment decisions. With your ruthless and incisive approach I assume you are now
an extremely wealthy individual.
Some of us with lesser ability to forsee future events can only stand back and marvel at your

Worry, anxiety, frustration, irritation come to mind - but not complacency. we have monitored our CNA holding over
many years and added additional shares in the hope of averaging out. Once you see losses on what you think should
be a stable investment, there is always the lingering hope that the decline can be reversed and those leading the
company will take decisive steps to achieve that goal. Sadly in the case of CNA this has never happened. There must
be many thousands of small CNA PI's nursing similar losses and feeling a sense of betrayal.

this must be one of the biggest corporate failures of recent years - down nearly 80pc over past five years and
heading for FTSE100 exit. and yet the Board adopt 'head in the sand' response and Berry has the shameless face
to thank Conn for his work in 'transforming' the company to a'sustainable' basis.

My wife invested a chunk of her modest local govt lump retirement pot into CNA ten years ago thinking it would be a safe
if unspectacular investment. her investment is now almost at zero.

I have e mailed Berry twice suggesting Conn should be dispensed with immediately rather than wait another nine months
until the AGM but of course my e mail has not been acknowledged, let alone given a response. Conn continues receive
his £2M plus package as the sp continues to sink and the company drifts to oblivion. The arrogance and complacency of
these people is just breathtaking.

Others have pointed up the Chairman's sick joke about Conn having repositioned the company to a sustainable
position. My wife stuck a wad of her pension money here about ten years ago thinking it would be a safe
if boring investment giving something above a bank savings account. she is sickened - so am I. But what
does Conn on his £2M+ salary care?

HL don't give performance figure on WSG but I first bought five years ago at 34p - and apart from the odd spike
due to colourful RNS as others suggested its been a long downward droop.

For more times than I care to remember I've been tempted to dip in to my cost when the sp hs fallen away. Trying now
