only about nine years out of date mate but what the heck. in TODAY's Daily Telegraph scathing attack on the unnecessary and
costly name change to turn it into what Alison Rose says will be a 'purpose led' bank. God help the poor PI's. I don't put much
trust in her doing it.

RBL - agree with you about HL. They've really gone downhill in last year or so. I've complained about lack of trade info
and broker forecasts. They said trade info available at LSE(!!) and still six months after withdrawing it still say they intend
to replace with a new source which is misleading. I'm slowly migrating to AJBell.

held iqe for a few years and traded decently till they fell off the cliff. Not a techi but interesting to hear what more informed
folk think about IQE's prospects now Huawei's being shown the door - or will it make little or no difference. I held ARM for
many years with handsome return and seemed we gave it away to the Japanese who then probably flogged off stuff to China. We never seem to get it right.

sadly that is no longer the case. presumably to save costs they withdrew the very useful 'recent trades' facility in March
saying they were looking for a new provider, and now no longer provide broker forecasts and in many cases news updates.
as a small PI I always found these were useful tools but now I'm reluctantly slowly moving elsewhere.

I don't hold Tesla directly but through Scottish Mortgage IT which has shown amazing growth in recent years and into which
I invest my grandchildrens funds. James Anderson,manger ofSMIT put his money into Tesla many years ago and maintained
the investment when many were calling Musk a crank, and he also poured money into Amazon many years ago. SMIT
has been a wonderful investment and long may it continue and its certainly been a flag bearer for Tesla.

Not that I was a fan but just reflect on one of his edicts when he was PM - as we fret about Fooler's contracts antics.

I'm not an impatient investor or a ramper but come on guys - bought in at 34.95 in December 2014 and tried to average
out ever since and still all red. All these contracts and all tbis chatter but just look at the sp SIX years on!!

We once stayed at a Marstons pub to break a journey to the West Country. My wife was not impressed. also had meals
in a couple of restaurants when we were visiting family and it was just for convenience.My wife said 'I hope we don't
have to come here again.' also seen one of their pubs from the outside. Was certainly not tempted to venture in. From my
albeit limited experience the pub/restaurant/accommodation part of the business is about at best 3* level and will
require massive spending to bring it up to levels which will be required post covid. I am not inclined to add to my already
below water holding, even with the 40% of the brewing business.

Hope you're right seaangler but I can't overlook the enormous problems and costs all pubcos and restaurants will face when
the return. reports yesterday suggesting that mens urinals will hve to be replaced by cubicles; cruise lines are saying an end
to self service buffet- likewise could be the end of the carvery found in most Marstons pubs. cant have people queueing
behind each other to grab their roasties and veg from the same dish with the same spoon? also many fewer tables
in restaurants and no shoulder to shoulder at the bar. so fewer meals served and pints consumed. Lots of challenges ahead and all going to be expensive?!

dont know about chicken. if its left to Fooler I'll just be on veggie burger.

I bought in at 34p six years ago at the peak and its been on a one way trend ever since. I'm still invested but I don't
think its going to cover the cost of my Xmas turkey 2020.

istock - only joking. Topped up didn't I in Jan 2018 at 412p. and been trying to average out ever since.Ouch!!
