"Over the last four years, THG Nutrition & Wellness has grown well ahead of the market. Our 24m+ customer base has diversified. Average order values have increased. And loyalty has remained high. Our growth not only come from our core playing field of sports nutrition but also through our diversification into new categories. From vitamins to vegan, collagen to clothing, we can move at significant pace to meet future trends through our vertical integration.
We are now leveraging this unrivalled ability to innovate to expand into targeted strategic partnerships. In recent years, we’ve covered most bases working with some of the world’s biggest brands. Licencing in to licencing out. Taste and IP led. Ambassador and event collaborations. Global to local. These opportunities allow us to selectively extend into new categories, increase brand touchpoints and engage consumers in new ways.
Partnerships offer something new to loyal customers, create a stronger emotional connection as well as enhancing brand value. By combining strengths and resources, brands can create a unique offering that appeals to a wider or different market segment.
Our first to market, Clear Whey Protein, is a great example of how we’ve continued to bring in new audiences through taste led partnerships. Building on the refreshing USPs of the product, we’ve recently worked with Vimto, Mike & Ike, Jelly Belly and a soon to come Chupa Chups offering, whilst expanding the ‘Clear Range’ further into areas such as collagen. This focus on broadening our appeal has resulted in record sales and double-digit growth for the range.
We’re always on the lookout for likeminded brands. Whether macro or micro, it’s the fit that’s fundamental to ensure we’re able to work authentically together – as we build to becoming the ‘world’s most empowering health movement’. Our 2024 calendar already has some incredibly high-profile names locked in and looking forward to working with new brands in the future to reap the reciprocal benefits.
