Manc39, these matters have been debated ad infinitum and its probably past the point of tedious now 1 week on. In fact I'm yawning as I write this.

I think you know full well that the answer to the question can't be answered definitively by anyone on here and certainly didn't come out at the Q+A. Maybe if you get yourself down the Hale Country Club and ask the right people in the higher eschelons of THG then you might get the answer and you can share it. All you will get on here in consequence is "I thinks"

H1 update was what it was and you'll either have your full whack in for Q3 in a few weeks or when next CE happens, or not. That seems to be the game you are playing.

Or of course you can always sell up and move on.

Yes he does explain it well and at the end he thinks exactly the same - seperate listing in the US for THG Nutrition is one of the options.

Anyway exactly one week to the day after results we are back to the same previous scenario where there are minimal trades and nobody is selling. Probably due to gross undervaluation of the share price.

Did hit guidance though, lacked strategy update this time around but things including Beauty improving, and got publicly admonished for it. 43point hit from 109p seems a bit OTT.

Indeed it has parallels. It's calling out the BoD and publicising the undervalue @ Elementis and its from the bag of tricks that Kelso published in their presentation, and that they had been using lightly here @ THG until the recent RNS. Interesting one causes an 11% rise and the other that is robably more significant gets overlooked. Kelso though, I think, will work more candidly and under the radar initially to achieve the undervalue that is clearly there.

Worth following developments @ Elementis and I've added it to my watchlist and may sneak a few pennies in if it falls back as its openly highlighted another undervalued stock.

Thats why Moulding didn't want to give Apollo controlling equity rights in both THG Beauty and Nutrition.

A point Kelso also picked up on and recently mentioned their view on.

Yespsb I've got broad shoulders and a good command of facts and also a good memory and the collective wisdom at Kelso tops all posters collectively on here and probably the THG BoD, so it was never taken as you having a go. Merely as a challenge.

I think your judgement though is being clouded by the fact that we are at 70p and not 109p or higher. I suspect of it was higher we wouldn't be having this discussion and indeed another entirely different one. But its not. 20p was robbed off this share price (for no reason) before we even got close to the interims and I remember Sp28's posts of exactly that .

There have been 4 bids here (all higher than the present share price by a country mile) and the share price is languishing where it is in an undervalued state. Imvho Moulding needs to bring about the changes and soon or I foresee a point in the not too distant future where he gets the challenge and is replaced.

Sum of parts we are worth far more so we just bide our time for developments and on which I don't think we will have long to wait.

Then we get fuller value.

If the biggest hindrance to the share price achieving fuller value is Moulding and any cohorts I would not bet against Kelso bringing about the necessary changes. You can sense the mood is changing and rightfully so if its been 1 year since seperation and at least 4 Bids have appeared (2 for the Group in totality and 2 recents for Nutrition)

Just look what BOO did (With John Goold from Kelso as a Non-Exec) to BOB Holt and the Chairman at REVB - Outed and Replaced.

Their eye is on the Sum of Parts valuation which they are looking to achieve one way or another and the present dip is not helping Mouldings cause 1 bit.

Its interesting if you read that Kelso's previous Kelso RNS for them mention seperation is approaching its 1 year anniversary and the last paragraph

"Kelso continues to encourage THG to deliver on a sum of the parts realisation and is very pleased that the company are open to driving this change forward. Kelso is looking forward to the interim results of THG in September with hopefully some corporate strategy update which we hope will serve to further explain and support why the recent Apollo bid was rejected."

Then the change is stance with the most recent one.

Strategic update at Q3 numbers, if not before, and / or improved numbers, and an imprived share price or they will "actively" seek to drive change and get that Sum of Parts valuation. With or without Moulding my guess as given what happened at REVB I don't see them taking any prisoners.

So X 5.5 Revenue Multiple.

THG Nutrition = £675 Million revenue in 2022. Multiply by 5.5 to give a value.

Then add what you wish for Beauty which pulls in more revenue than Nutrition.

All lokking a bit mor ebrighter on the share price front and now St Legers Day has passed.

So low is the share price at the moment that we aren't even at Apollo's valuation of THG Ingenuity.

Golden share gone, they must be tempted to come back. Or Kelso must be tempted to tap them up to have another go.

Yespsb if Apollo bid "signifciantly more" than the 65p to 68p the share price was trending at prior then the bid was higher than £2.00. £2.25 to £2.50 for me.

We just go round in circles highlighting how undervalued the Sum of parts collectively are.

Kelso have told Moulding that he should have been telling us about the 2 Bids for Nutrition and also to get on with eiether Premium Listing or the "in the not too distant future" seperate listing of one of the Divisions. Scroll down

Anyway markets seem to have responded favourably to CPI figure. 0.25% rise tomorrow and that should be it for a while imvho

THG should have bought or should buy Warpaint or RevB to give them good coverage in Beauty and across the more easily affordable sectors of Beauty.

Anyway reassuringly he stated on Linkedin that the Beauty production side issues were now behind them (manufacturing for others) and it had returned to growth.

Goldenyears - was in semi- agreement with your post up until you mentioned the rebranding. The new branding is Far superior to the old... standoput so... when you see new and old side by side in the Iceland freezers... so not agreeing with that one...said so back then at the time they doubled the range...

Funnily enough thats what hades1 on advfn seems to be thinking also !!

Its not hard to spot a trader.

Last few days we have seen somebody picking up a lot at 66p and then through to 68p and today at 68p and through to 70p and just above, with what looks like a controlled MM dip for stock in the last half hour (small single digit accompanying MM trades) Probably unfinished business there at 70p and just higher would be my guess for part of tomorrow. The share price and these small moves are really small change compared to Sum of Parts and where it was prior and the larger daily volumes from the 109p days points to accumulation.

Lets see where tomorrow takes us.
