It's not daytraders Pc, CARD has always had its own share of II's and unfortunately ones that short it also.

If you like the numbers then the market is presenting everyone with the same price and opportunity

Absolutely no idea what is going on with the share price here but its at ridiculous levels and getting to virtually zero reflection of all the hard work that was done post suspension, including

~ getting both sets of accounts published and out there,

~ banking sorted,

~ processes improved and tightened

~ Trading update that took it to 36p only recently

~ BOO's very large shareholding 26.54%, most acquired during suspension.

~ William Currie Investments adding recently also and holding 5.22%.

All that being enough to add many 10's of percent to any other share.

Given the last published results were for the year ended 28th February RevB can't be far off publishing an H1 update.

Appreciate it doesn't show TUI within and it is actually applicable to the Travel and Leisure sector but it lets you glimpse things quickly comparatively speaking. Both yesterday and todays fall @TUI percentage wise were disproportionately large. Make of it as you see fit.

As for Kelso I thought they may? have closed the CFD's they have. On that you are correct, and they may? also have closed when it was over £1.00 recently. They are targeting 20% returns annually come what may so periodically they will be looking to bank. Thats the logic behind my thoughts. Anyway they seem to be doing OK in their latest investment @WRKS so I wish them and all invested in the well.

Agreed Taverham and Hexam but all I'm saying is that there are many an HF or SB firm out there that gets up in the morning and openly discusses "who shall we ##ck today" so that's why you should refrain. Heard it many times over.

You really shouldn't be publishing your every breath on public bulletin boards for HF's, Spreadbetting firms and MM's to see, some of which openly watch with a view to making money against your position.

10% fall on CARD early doors but its clawed back some of it.

I'm seriously going to have to start alighting shares when Polishcap starts appearing on the share register.

On another note it seems clear from the volumes now being transacted and the large amounts that are appearing after hours that II's are shuffling for their positions. Share price is too low so I'll leave it to you to decide which way you think they are shuffling.

It's market makers "naked shorting" the shares (which they can do)

Superb results last week and nothing company wise has changed since then.

Anywhere around £4.50p and I'll take a gamble on it.

Hopefully you have made some nice profit with any intervening buys and sells or you are averaging down, otherwise you might be having problems with remembering what you have been posting.

Fair point but I was just showing the perecentage fall relative to market cap. Jet2 's fall today is about half TUI's fall.

That's if you look at it the way it was intended. 6% fall off £4.5 Million worth of shares against a £2.3 Billion market Cap.

So 6% down today off a presently valued £2.34 Billion company (with the 6% off) with only just over 1 million shares volume or £4.5 Million value traded. And how many of those transactions were buys?

My perspective on holding shares is entirely different from your trading perspective and it is that which makes for bigger gains.

Well somebody seems to be making good money oscillating it back and forwards whatever the issues.

In its purest form this is a play for Ukraine special operation ending at some point. Then the real benefits get reaped.

I got mines 2% cheaper than you Stupmy thats all you need to know and I have deep pockets.

CCL update later this week I believe so probably being played ahead of....Nothing to do with tea leaves.

Thanks S_R, you hit my nail exactly on the head, albeit you misconstrued the point.

Stupmy isn't an investor, they are just a trader irrespective of volume.

Must have $ #it himself when it went under 460p, having paid 466p.

Volume traded isn't the key derivative in what I was saying, its the time frame involved in holding.

The economic horizon with both the US and UK halting interest rate rises is the best outlook scenario on the economic front there has been in almost a full year. Don't underestimate it and its significance. That's why the comments and various economic indicators you oftimes for the most part irrelevant and lamentable to TUI's core business.

Stupmy - keep studying those tea leaves but at the start of all TA textbooks there is normally a preface that says that you shouldn't even attamot to use T/A on volatile shares. I'd say 498p to 460p and back and forth a couple of times falls into the volatility category. Still if it helps you rationalise your decisions then thats all that should matter to you.

You'll probably find you fare better stupmy just by shutting up shop and having a holiday, rather than publicising every breathe you make on a public bulletin board. Same with yourself S_K. The way this share price is oscillating you will both have heart attacks before you are much older. You are both coming across as nothing more than 2p traders.

The oil price isn't really that relevant here since the update last week as TUI told us they are well hedged into next year.

Probably of equal if not more relevance though to household pockets and budgeting was the decision to pause interest rate rises last week. a) because it gives gives a breather b) might symbolise peak rtaes reached and c) because there is active talk of lenders reducing their mortgage fixes and the first ones appearing sub 5%.

That said the update showed TUI have continued to do very well through all thats been thrown at it.
