Moulding clearly said at the Analysts meeting in September about a seperate listing for one of the Divisions "in the not too distant future" whilst talking about Nutrition.

Those without now starting to get a little twitchy.

One day soon we get an update that says its happening or the RNS just drops unannounced.

Kelso have more clout than folks give them credit for and they will be quids in also, if not the vehicle for the seperate listing. Plenty associated with the company and they have connections to advise right through to Zeus Capital and you can add in Elliot Management, the US Hedge Fund after their latest recruit Sarah Rajani.

To be fair I normally skip over most posts on here Investing101, including yours.

The bulletin board has are in truth lost it's relevance and there are only a handful of posters on here presently worth reading, two of which are dafad and Yorek.

The rest is all just noise.

Oh it had to be higher, otherwise it would have been shut down at Unconditional Bid Number 1 and without MM and BoD going back to ask them to improve the offer. The stumbling block if you read the Linkedin post probably wasn't the overall offer price imvho it was the fact Apollo wanted controlling equity in Nutrition and Beauty. Why would that be so?

The point is that Ingenuity itself was actually valued at more than the present share price - and its not even the real cash generator of the company presently. Here's the post again for a recap.

Then on dissing the City also, when only in the last two weeks or so Liberum came out with a Broker note as being heavy buyers around this price and seeing 200% upside and with Ingenuity a deal or two away from it's Aha moment and also BoA more recently have also come out in favour spying 200% upside. What you can't argue with is wider markets and Market Makers who again imho have this in a holding pattern. You have to be a Liberum client to get their Note but here's BoA's summary.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Moulding for I personally think he and the BoD needs to set out their strategy and that has to be to be to resurrect the value in the share price. Seperate list, list elsewehere, MBO. He got that message resoundingly through only the 1 Linkedin post, and also with the share price where it is. That will have resonated more than any posts on here off all the moaners who invariably are just traders and multi-ID's. His silence since says as much. He needs to get the share price up otherwise someone else will come in and do it for him.

Lets not forget that the Golden share has been surrendered and feeding into that if there have been any valid points made thus far today then it is probably the question of where has been the support of the supposed over 50% to 65% of II's that MM supposedly thinks he has behind him. They've not been buying to support the share price as there have been no recent RNS's. QIA the last and some time ago previously.

So - does he really have their support and what would be the case if say Apollo or any other comes back and this time tables a formal offer or any other goes hostile?

The present dynamic I like for all the possibilities that it now throws up with underlying value and the need to resurrect the share price. Ultimately though everybody makes their own respective decisions. The same said moaners will fall silent if anything decently positive gets RNS'd overnight.

Equally it is worth pointing out that there is a dearth of sellers and that is probably because Nutrition alone is worth more that the present shareprice. Than add the rest for Beauty and Ingenuity.

Good finds Yorek and dafad which actually reminds us all that despite all the nonsense and nuisance posts off multi id's and traders that gets posted on here, there is actually a business operating and trying to expand daily

Same will happen here Yorek if MM can't get the share price up. That's his present dilemma. Many, I think would happily like to see Apollo return with another offer (this time formal and with an announced price) to actually test the support levels now that the Golden share has gone. Or even the likes of the far more aggressive Elliot appearing on the scene.

I think the point we shouldn't forget amidst it all is that ALL are invested to try and make money, (thats PI's, HF's, II's, Activist Investors..) the important bit for me with any Activist investors onboard is that provided their interests coincide with mines then that's fine by me. They offer the balance to the likes of Qube and have far more financial contacts and strings and levers to pull than you or I.

Not defending anybody. Just saying better to have friends than the foe.

HotChip, the CARD share price gets played in between updates.

Just look at the the revenue generation and like for likes in the last statement as well as expansion and the paying down of debt and fast forward a few months to what things might look like in January with a full Festive season behind it.

They did also provide an update in November last year if memory serves me right so the share price dip might provide good opportunity. But only you can decide that.

I thought the very same as your good self what with all the European expansion that had gone on and now having added Sainsbury's and Decathlon in recent weeks and what with the Tesco Senior account managers jobs. In fairness he did on Linkedin say at the time of the cereals, yoghurts and cheeses post to watch out for MP turning up in other grocers as he put it. There can only be a couple of logical reasons. He either wants to get his foot in the door with as many as possible before others get to know that he is moving into bricks and mortar retail (commercial sensitivity or competitive advantage) or he doesn't actually know what is currently going on with the business. I personally think it's the former but it's yet another pointer towards clarifying and setting out what his actual strategy is both within and for the overarching divisions themselves.

Kelso's criticism, Jamie Gallagher's poignant post and his MM's silence on Linkedin might be pointing to some clarity coming.

He must be getting it in the ear off Mum Moulding, Jodie and all the friends and family that were gifted shares or have bought in and maybe also off other large shareholders that Kelso maybe made a valid point.

The share price also is blatantly telling him that as it is presently vulnerable to another approach and without Golden share protection.

Lets face it - Nutrition alone is worth several multiples of where it is presently at.

I actually saw two of their Advent Beauty Calenders on the Lookfanstastic website just the other day when I was looking for one to buy myself for my good lady. Very reasonably priced I thought and free delivery as well if I remember correctly.

Just going back to the share price and it incredibly being sat not that much higher than pre-suspension levels, and with it having moved or been moved down on not in reality a lot of volume.

~ getting both sets of accounts published and out there,

~ banking sorted,

~ processes improved and tightened

~ Trading update that took it to 36p only recently

~ BOO's very large shareholding 26.54%, most acquired during suspension.

~ William Currie Investments adding recently also and holding 5.22%.

All that being enough to add many 10's of percent to any other share..."

Must be a Q3 update due at some point soon so I'll continue to hold for this and Q4 and Festive sales and always in the knowledge that this can climb just as fast and as large. No real news difference from the 36p it reached of a month or so ago.

Good to see that you have just onboarded Kelso as an Active / Value Investor. They do extensive due diligence into the companies they invest in and although only recently listed are backed by high calibre business people and High Net worth individuals, and are headed by John Goold.

They see an undervalued share price if they have invested and aim to work with management to improve that. Plenty of levers at their disposal also to assist and if true to form they normally make a second purchase. Recently bought into WRKS and within a week of disclosing that holding got tabled a resolution at the AGM to cancel the dividend and buy back their own shares which succeeded. Buy back news awaits. They might be spying the same here re the dividend and share buy backs or a higher Sum of parts for both Divisions.
