Well if the Q3 Conference call was correct and THG have appointed themselves a Deputy CEO (Steve Rothwell) then he has been appointed for a reason, and that being for something over and above Mouldings day to day role, and with sufficient clout to carry favour. I wonder what that could be?

You can actually take a 3 dimensional walk through of the Gym and Spa. I've just done so and it looks like its got Espa, Myprotein and Perricone products interspersed throughout.

Slightly skewed article the way it is written to be fair.

Yes the loss is as recorded but it's hardly any surprise for you don't put in new Gym and luxury Spa facilities to any hotel anywhere in the world and staff up for free and you then have build up its use and custom from scratch. The £1.7M difference in that context doesn't seem too unreasonable and will add to the hotel's appeal. Wouldn't have been beyond them to paint a little clearer picture.

I'm off down the bottom of the garden in a minute to try and find that elusive money tree where you get it all for free.

Looks like Kelso have taken a leaf out their very own playbook advice to THG re share buybacks when the share price is low and have put their money where their mouth is and have started buying back their own shares. 2nd recent buyback transaction RNS in recent days over there this morning and if you raise £3Million at 2.5p then why not buy those shares back at 2p, cancel them and take them out of the market. Easy net 20% to 25% gain realised on all you buy back.

I just wonder if behind it all they know a little bit more than they are letting on re THG seperately listing THG Nutrition elsewhere in the not too distant. They did offer themselves up as the vehicle to do exactly that.

If you raise £3M @ 2.5p then why not buy those shares back @ 2p and then cancel them.

Especially if you have faith in your own investments and discipline.

PP1 says

"TopShop cost Asos £330m including inventory, etc. They paid too much for it. They'll be lucky to get £165m for it."

Market Cap though of Asos is only £480 Million.

Huge valuation gap therefore if they are looking at getting the £330M back from the interested party.

Just serves to highlight the gaping disconnect between so many companies share prices and Sum of Parts.

That Mike Ashley chap is good at sniffing out value and picking up bargains and certainly isn't daft when it comes to his investments.

Asos will go up tomorrow. A bit I suspect given its present market cap. Will be interesting if the Telegraph article draws an RNS.

Hopefully it then starts to draws a bit of attention towards the likes of BOO, THG, Ocado and the other e-tailers.

Looks like Authentic Brands Group (US owner of Ted Baker etc) are in talks with ASOS to acquire the Topshop brand.

Only a £460M Market Cap for the full Asos group and all it's reach and a business they paid £330M for.

Just reminds everyone of the intrinsic value sat within companies that get overfished and end up in fu gazi markets. Ring any bells??

The present share price doesn't value THG Ingenuity on its own (as per the Apollo bid)

The present share price doesn't value THG Nutrition on its own (Subject of 2 recent offers for it solely in the last year)

Certainly doesn't value THG Beauty on its own either.

That's why I'm philosophical about the share price and post less regularly.

We're about due the next instalment. Seperate listing of Nutrition or next Capital Event please and you'll either be holding or not so really not fussed.

The trip may have family connotations but there is no such thing as coincidence that he is back in Dubai again after his last recent trip, and with the share price so low.

Last time I looked Natwest was a seperately listed company and zero affiliation or association with LLOY - as borne out in the recent results.

Lloyds trippled profit and reduced bad debt so its probably the pick of the bunch out of all the banks at the moment.

Safe dividend income and probably the chance of an increased dividend, or buybacks.

Well that's it just clocked a 10% gain for me in less than a day so very happy at my judgement call yesterday.

Bit of a positive upturn in the US and it should add a good bit more on top.

Amazon reporting figures tonight after the market close I believe could be a good tonic.

I thought these MyProtein foodstuffs were all on a 5 year exclusive deal with Iceland?

That rumours like this off presumably solid sources can reappear at any time and nobody ever knows what due diligence is being done in the background or by whom.

Just managed a first re-entry point here in a while.

Will look to add further on any dips and then sit on them.

It is starting to look appealing again and it seems to be one that Blackrock play with to make their own luck.

£9.78 end of July points to value at these levels, in any circumstance.

Having read the last update it actually reads quite well and certainly not a 500p fall.

Cheap as chips imho, mostly down to MM's and and with no real accompanying volume imho.
