It all changes in a flash moniman if either a Bid pops up for any of their 3 investments (or KLSO itself) or in the interim, if through the Share buybacks they clear any seller. In my opinion they have twigged that there was a seller probably deliberately trying to suppress the share price. (I think Spreadex).

But all the recent buyback RNS's say Kelso are intent on buying back any they sell. They could just approach them and offer them out as it looks like they have ran their race and in the mean time yes all three investments are doing well and that only serves to highlights the value. Kelso have more monies than they have shares so the seller will run out an in the meantime they bank a 25% instant gain on all they buy off the placing proceeds.

I also suspect that on top of having solid holdings they also have a trading pot with a trading algorythm to make money on the bigger macro swings.

People are just sitting and waiting now. Clear as mud Nutrition will be seperately listed unlocking a significant amount of value nowhere near priced in here.

Markets also seem to be going "risk on" again after the US kept interest rates on hold last night. UK should do the same at midday. Thise having been hit recently seem to be recovering with decent gains. E.g Ocado.

Not much more to be said really. People (Retail PI's) are not being tomfooleried out of their shares here any more by Fugazi markets.

Just spied the fall on this from yesterday and I suppose if the market cap is sitting, as it is, at less than £5Million then there is every chance of a bid emerging for the whole company and somebody gets to pick up the US and UK projects in their present state of advance, the Ohio manufacturing facility, and all the proprietary technology and intellectual property for not a lot of money. One of the bigger Energy companies or a consortium wishing a "go green" with an sustainable aviation fuels bolt on I was thinking - and one with the capital backing or contacts needed perhaps. Do I or don't I take a small speculative punt for few £K. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Given the way Taylor Swift's Eros tour has been drawing in huge audiences in both Concert venues and the many Cinemas showing her tour performance around the globe it's quite pleasing to see The Works are highly current and have picked up on the trend. This one could have been the convincer for Kelso's stakebuild and I think it might end up being a candidate for one of its own best sellers this Xmas and an excellent and affordable Xmas stocking filler, even a jokey one, for any of the many Swifties out there.

Although it may come across as a pardon the pun, actually as an indirect shareholder in WRKS I'm going to "pencil" in a Saturday visit in the next few weeks just to check out what's in stock and how busy things are. Doing own dyor. May even buy a couple of these myself to gift to younger family members or to a local charity shop for Xmas.

Moniman if THG Nutrition gets seperately listed in the US, as Matt Moulding and the Telegraph have recently indicated then the share @THG should probably double the sp you think they should exit at - and then leaving two other large businesses also there to realise their true value. (Ingenuity and Beauty)

I do agree with you though that the buybacks here are an excellent idea and should continue. It defeats whoever has been trying to suppress the share price price (I think Spreadex). It creates a floor and lets them cancel the shares whilst at the same time bagging an instant 25% gain against the placing price on their money. And then the seller runs out of shares...or a capital event occurs... Effectively they are investing in themselves as their 4th Investment.

Gallemore and Farr bought directly after the Golden Share was relinquished AS1. Its in the RNS's. Virtually the next day after if I remember correctly and that's as relevant here today as it was back then.

Two bids for the whole of THG in 18 months and 2 for THG Nutrition as a seperate entity (and all prior to the GS being relinquished). Shouldn't be too long before the next offer pops up and given the lack of supposed 65% or %0% support I for one would like to see it put to the test.

Two safety blankets at these share prices.

1. Seperate listing of Nutrition in the US. Mentioned several times now, and

2. Improving cashflow with FCF positive ahead of time and a focus on Profitability over growth at any cost. This also being the strongest quarter of the year.

OAC I hear what you are saying but don't agree that that one operator at BRR was fired and then replaced. This all all happened Live and in quick time and far too quickly for Moulding to have spoken to get a change made. If you listen it literally moves right into Moulding speaking so absolutely zero time to enact what you have said. More likely two operators. One handling the introductions and the other in charge of organising and feeding through the Q+A's in an orderly fashion.

I'd be more inclined to think it could have been human error off operator 1 but think what was read out was scripted and like I say - no Moulding correction and you have to admit, he's pretty pedantic.

It re-highlights though the full contents of the Conference call again which came just literally after the Telegraph article stating that THG were targeting a US float of MyProtein.

Well worth reading the article again if you can (or find the posted version on here) and then listening to the first of the Q+A. But for bigger macro events causing market uncertainty (e.g Israel) and results players the share price imvho should never have fallen as Nutrition is worth multiples of where we presently are.

Yorek I did the same search on Linkedin at the time. Maybe worth checking with IR to get a definitive answer.

If Charles Allen is unwell as people suggest then it would make sense to have somebody step up to gap fill the void given all that is going on. Too many plates for Moulding to spin.

OAC I contemplated that but she would have been passed precise name and title details and only read out what she was passed. No correction off Moulding either at the start (and he's pretty pedantic)

It's falling because it missed guidance but what with impairment charges and one offs for gas and wind how much of it was intentional?

The situation in the Middle East presently combined with winter will no doubt work to BP's advantage and let them keep fuel, petrol and diesel prices high.
