And I see the Saudis have just invested and taken a stake in Heathrow Airport this fine day. Plenty of Oil rich sovereign Wealth Funds out there with lots of cash to burn courtesy of high oil prices and as they migrate away from fossil fuels to other industries.

It's now X6 plus the initial 2.2 Million of trading volume that was used to sink this share price this morning. Some of those for definite being buys. Its not hard to work out what's happening.

The reality is that oil rich countries are flush with cash presently through high oil prices and so are their state backed investment funds (QIA and the like) and that's why you can negotiate decent contract rates with "advance payments" factored in and that's also why those state backed investement funds have decent money to invest freely also.

This has all the hallmarks of ruse. A short attack sparked by the Israel / Gaza conflict (which it has to be pointed out has not impacted PFC to date) (check the chart above from 10th October) and further extended (I think by naked shorting) to instil fear and manipulate things with all sorts of unsubstantiated rumours and other speculation thereafater.

The real reality though is that there is no definitive known reason for a fall from 85p to 24p.

Astonishing really and still PFC go about its daily business and have just penned sub contract work on TenneT for 2025.

Its setting things up nicely for an interesting 20th December should PFC put the record straight and deliver a half decent update. Should that be the case then I wish anyone short in advance all the best in their quest to obtain the stock they require. This morning I have as seeing the first of the II shorts taking the opportunity to pick up stock and close.

Not necessarily so Specimen115 for extending mortgage terms and the potential to move people onto interest only payments temporarily (instead of interest + capital repayments) or cap payments and add to mortgage debt are all shrewd attempts to lessen the burden and to keep inflation down. Mortgage debt might increase in consequence but not necessarily the repayments. It all depends on what agreement you can strike with your bank or building society.

You need to look more carefully at the spread. I don't think its any of your 6 shorters and I hinted yesterday whom I thought was behind things.

Anyways the recent awarding of that substantial subcontract work for TenneT forwards to 2025 tells you PFC firmly intend being around by then.

I've never shorted in my life but after reading that article if I were short and in profit I'd probably be thinking about banking. Just imvho but good luck though whatever your decisions short or long.

Certainly nothing wrong with the TenneT contract to be awarding out subcontract work that's for sure.

If some wish to hand their shares over their shares to II shorters to enable them to close or to any naive late arrival new shorters bold enough to embark then please do.

After reading that link it's a hold and be bold. Bring on the 20th December and there's always the risk that a new contract drops in between times or we get an approach.

Reading between the lines it certainly points the way that there is nothing wrong with the TenneT contract or indeed PFC itself if they are subcontracting out this future work.

That's a good find.

Certainly now seems to be slowly edging its way up to £6.00 and to be fair it should never have fallen on results day.

Never seen a share like this to yoyo back and forth literally 6% to 10% every few days.

Some Institutional Investors must be making a packet out of this.

Yes you need the patience of a saint with MM but patience it is when the Sum of Parts are so much higher than the present share price.

A near X4 the volume of the 2.2M shares (or circa only £500k of trades) that was used to sink the share price 13 -14% at one point. That increase in volume points to somebody picking up stock.

I'll hold what I've managed to acquire and am happy to wait for the 20th December and hopefully see a very nice return on investment. Any further orchestrated dips I'll look to add.

Sorry to hear of your predicament HH but one thing I will say that is positive was that the banks were mandated by HMG (Government) to limit any repossessions arising out of the steep rise in interest rates and to work with borrowers to ensure this. So extended mortgage terms and switch to interest were two options put on the table to alleviate things. It perhaps part explains why perhaps Retail sales online and in the shops are proving so resilient.

I think you have probably only witnessed the first one and the start.

Just leave the retail shorters and probably the noise on here to work it out after a few more close up and when they get their margin calls.

I think you are probably watching somebody starting to picking up and close their position. Thats a near tripling of volume of these low levels in the last 20 minutes or thereabouts.

Should be interesting given the relatively low volumes that put it where it is and particularly if nobody sells.

Good luck finding any definitive company or industry reason for the recent falls.

Its always the retail shorter last to the party that gets lumped with the baby and the bathwater whilst the II shorts exit.

Just over £500k worth of shares traded (2.2 Mill volume) doesn't merit a 14% fall.

Roll on the 20th Dec. and hopefully a few more top ups along the way.

£500 k worth of shares traded doesn't merit a 12% fall. Several of which will be buys.

At some point they will have to be bought back.

4th Investment just announced in Angling Direct

Circa over £800k spent for a 3% stake.

They seem to be making money from their investments. Maybe trading a few across the back of a core holding?

Definite logic also in urging a share buyback on Angling Direct.
