What we do know is that Zaza is trying to enlist a new Nomad. I remain confident that he will succeed as imo he will not want to delist given the messages it sends to our partners

Bomber: looking at his posting history he claims not. I had the same suspicion as you and having read his posting history am convinced he isn't. He relies on charts but doesn't have the complete arrogance of Pharmerjiles ...

Normally RNSs are released at 7am. I assume that the reason for this is that the news can be considered before the market opens, thus making an inappropriate sp reaction less likely.
My favourite time for the Nomad RNS had been 7am this morning but, on reflection, given we are suspended, it doesn't matter what time the RNS is released so there is an added reason to keep an eye on the RNS icon here in case a red dot appears...
I do not expect us to delist and so anticipate an RNS sometime over the next few days: fingers still firmly crossed.

A number of posters today are expecting us to delist. To me this is unlikely as (as I have said a few times before), Zaza will not allow it owing to the loss of credibility. He will want FRR to appear a strong professional business in the eyes of BP, BH and the NY funder. Delisting does not give that impression. Given the timescales it was always very unlikely anything would happen Nomad wise until next week, but I expect either an appointment announcement or an agreed extension pending a Nomad final appointment, before the deadline. Fingers crossed :). GLAlths

It was a point that had crossed my mind too, but I also looked at it from the other way around in that although I don't know on what basis a Nomad gets paid but suspect that the size of the entity is a factor and, as such, FRR with the potential to become a massive O&G player will be a very attractive proposition for a prospective Nomad. So our negotiating position isn't without strengths too ...

Good morning Tsbs: I am a Saints fan so will be off down to St Mary's tomorrow for a welcome distraction from this and a few beers.

Thank you to whoever caused this potential RNS excitement ... as it has stopped guys posting about delisting worries/implications. The thought of having that over the whole weekend is depressing; thank God there is football to go to :-)!

We know from YJ, to a number of posters, that Zaza is working hard to get a Nomad sorted. These things take time but he will be aware of the delisting deadline, and, whilst he may not be bothered about our ISA envelopes; in my opinion he will be bothered about the sort of message it would send out to BP, BH and the NY potential funder. So I am confident he has been hard at it since 24 December.

CF73: if they appoint a Nomad and the shares come off suspension the sp may not be as badly hit as many expect owing to the fact that the appointment of a Nomad means that a lot of due diligence has been achieved with an acceptable outcome ... as eloquently described in Devex's post on ii copied here earlier by Arsenal.
