The company that is being liquidated has 5% royalties. My presumption is that in order to monetarise this now they will need to sell it, which, sounds permissible under the agreement? If that is correct it will be interesting to see who they sell it to...

Free: indeed. I was thinking about this overnight. Who are the creditors of FRC? It has always appeared that we have had many tolerant/supportive creditors. Will these have been creditors of the Company that is now being liquidated; can anyone in the know please advise?

Maybe the judge started reading the Star Wars references and decided it was a load of twaddle and didn't bother with the rest. That was said in jest but it did seem a highly unprofessional approach which to some readers may have belittled the case we were trying to make.
It will be interesting to see what the lawyers do next.

Zen: my reading of Bugsy's 14.24 yesterday post was that FRR are permitted to transfer the asset without the agreement of the Georgian Govt, so I don't think Hope would be doing battle with the Georgians.

Can you say where it says in an RNS that Hope was suspended please as I can't find a reference to it?

Forgive me if I am off the mark here, but there appears to be an undercurrent of bad feeling towards garytrader. All he has done is state facts, and whilst some of it makes unpalatable reading surely it is good to know the facts. I haven't been positive over the past few days as it seems I am going to lose a massive amount of money but I would rather read facts than potential possible scenarios. So thanks to garytrader, oopsi and others for sharing their knowledge/research.
Having said all that, we all sincerely hope that Zaza and Steve have this all under control, but, alas the signs increasingly suggest the opposite.
Hopefully I am wrong as usual, but with my only other much smaller investment, CHL, the just outcome didn't happen and I now have the same ominous feeling here.

I think the rope has been made into a loop and is being thrown over the branch ...
The only solace is that this is my take on where we are given the news, but none of us know more than a small fraction of what is going on (I hope!) so fingers crossed there are positives we don't know about.

Do we know that the GG will have agreed to the asset transfer?

Tsbs: I guess the dilemma was that Hope was effectively strangling the business. If they had paid the $2m then Hope would have continued to veto any finance raising. So perhaps they had no option but to bite the bullet in that respect, although I think they would have been in a much better place if they had paid the $2m and started the action against Hope. Then there would have been no default and we wouldn't have been constantly trying to defend him getting the assets... I guess there were other factors involved.

I see that one or two are putting a positive slant on where we are following denial of the TRO, and I sincerely hope they are correct.
However, I have no legal knowledge and so can someone please explain that if the TRO wasn't important, why did we go to such lengths to try and obtain it and why did Hope's lawyers submit 1,000 pages to stop it?
Is there any legal reason now to stop the liquidators pressing on with their job?
Oopsi seemed to suggest obtaining the TRO was vital. Was he wrong or does this new hearing change matters?

If he has denied the TRO then presumably we will have to pick up all the costs, which will include the cost of the 1,000 page defence?

Has the judge given any reason as to why he has denied the TRO?
The liquidation process will proceed then. How long does it take to liquidate the Company?

Therefore the liquidators haven't got control of the website ... yet!

Pecten: yes it was Vinnyacht (or similar). He also reminds me of Hottrader33 (or something similar) with the constant hahahaha ...
