It does sound extraordinary tbh; so you provided evidence of your purchases and said that you bought them on the basis of the RNS and that was sufficient for them to cough up?

How will we know if we have submitted a declaration of solvency to the liquidator by the deadline?

mapp: you know nothing about this judge just like you knew nothing about the last. Moreover we may not get to 6 June. Try to keep up: maybe re-read the posts from today: we (maybe?) need the declaration of solvency by the 29th May.

spike: I am afraid that this: 'good lawyers only take cases they will win' line just doesn't hold true alas. They just get rich whatever. My only other (albeit much smaller) investment was CHL and posters kept saying that we would win the all determining court action as Clifford Chance only take cases they will win. Well we lost everything ... although Clifford Chance weren't out of pocket and live (richer) to fight another day...

Gipps: I think we can safely say that will not be the case!
No Nomad would touch us until this court case is done and, even if we found one and relisted, the sp would currently be decimated which would mean that we couldn't realistically raise anything anyway.

Madp: except that if they have moved the assets then they don't need the approval of the GG. This was highlighted recently by Bugsy-b, as it is written in the original agreement. So if the assets have been moved it is unlikely they would have involved the GG.

Basically none of know what will happen and why we got here, but out of Madp's various options I suspect that anything involving the tax rebate can be discounted. There have been enough times over the past few years when that would have been repaid if the GG were interested in us surviving.

Well because they've made this almost certainly doomed attempt to get the injunction then surely that suggests that there will be no declaration of solvency, otherwise why waste a huge amount of money on the injunction effort (for which we will get landed with Hope's costs too). Our submission sounded desperate and it seems that it probably was alas.

Well one doesn't have to be a lawyer to realise that is a slam dunk; the injunction will clearly not be granted.

The challenge is that when one has so much skin in the game and there is only bad news emanating from the court (and no news from elsewhere) it is very easy for conspiracy theories to seem a tad credible. I shall shut up about it ... that should get some tick ups!

Gipps: this is an extract from Pyrotech's post on Sunday, which could (hopefully not!!) explain what is going on. There is always a possibility that this has been manufactured to give a get out (with plenty of readies) to Zaza and Steve and that something like Pyro's scenario will unfold. I don't believe that is the case but my belief counts for nothing ...

Knowing our luck the California judge is probably a democrat so Stevie has put our money on the wrong horse! It is a democrat state.

Finn: a tad harsh, albeit amusing. I think Jim is a genuine investor, albeit clearly with lazy tendencies!

Jim: we are in the middle of a court case and the Force is seemingly not with us. Hope is liquidating one of the group companies although we believe the assets may have been moved to another. We are engaging a lot of expensive lawyers so money must be coming from somewhere ... although there has been no communication to us from the company since 24 Dec, which they say is down to not wanting to say anything until the court case is over.

Hang in there Mike. It may not seem it but it will get better.
