Pompey: good to see an optimistic post.
However (sorry!), where is the evidence that we are producing? All the (admittedly scant) evidence seems to be of unpaid bills and workers. Please correct me if there is anything.

Finn: the implication of that very statement is that the shares have value, as otherwise they wouldn't be happy with just shares or a combination of cash and shares.

By giving Outrider the shares would it mean that Zaza/Steve were effectively weakening the Frontera case in California, as that is basically putting the case that they shouldn't owe the monies in the first place. Maybe a question for Oopsi?
It does seem that Outrider believe these shares do have value.

Presumably they are able to just issue the shares to pay off Outrider given the headroom, as opposed to having to use shares from their respective holdings?

Given that our expected timeline for any news has been pushed back a year following Earsbern's helpfully posting the latest Court docs overnight, could you please use your direct means of contact with Zaza? There are statutory obligations including publishing results and holding an AGM that the Company seems to have not complied with and whilst I know you were planning on going underground(!) until the Court case was over, that was before today's development.
What are you thoughts please?

Good morning all
With the continuing lack of information from the Company and relying on the stuff unearthed by our super sleuths, I am trying to deduce where we might be now. It would be helpful if anyone could correct any mistakes in what I set out below/conclusions and guesses I have made. I know speculation annoys some so apologies for that but I just want to get my head round the chances of my investment coming to fruition:
It seems the Company currently has no money. There is no evidence of production so I think we can safely assume there isn't any. Bills haven't been paid (possibly in some cases for good reason) and now we have two actions against Zaza and Steve as opposed to the Company, which suggests that the plaintiffs believe that is there best chance of recouping funds. The Texas action may relate to the DOS and therefore suggests that the debt is still outstanding and the DOS may be supported by personal guarantees. (If that is the scenario, would Outrider be the plaintiff or the liquidator???)
The California action looks like it will drag on for another year, which, in itself is completely gutting.
We can take comfort in the fact that Zaza and Steve are backing the Company with personal guarantees (if they are!). It suggests that they are still confident that this will come good eventually. But the NDAs are coming to an end.
We are considerably overdue an update and cannot wait another year, but with where we are now I cannot see Zaza breaking his silence unless we have to vote on a takeover or something similar.
Any thoughts guys/gals?

Mills: I apologise to you and the Board for my use of those words (albeit following an 'if') yesterday. When one has so much skin in the game it is very easy to react negatively to bad news.

Well there certainly are a number of signs that we have no money currently, but this should surprise no-one. The critical thing is where we go from here. The DOS is in place. Hope is off the Board which means they can negotiate finance, although that may require relisting beforehand. The bottom line is that if the Company is really on its knees financially with no get out then the asset can just be sold to BP; which is an outcome that I am sure many on here would be perfectly happy with.

So we haven't paid our Cayman Islands legal bill. Interesting that the action is against Steve and Zaza as opposed to the Company.

Pophead: as a regular reader of this board you will know that I endeavour to provide a balanced view. However if Levan has left, it is potentially seriously bad news, so rather than lambast me, how about contributing some facts about whether Levan has left or not?

There's been no takeover as bp would be duty bound to announce it. If Levan has gone then I think we can conclude it's likely that it is game over, so hopefully this is an unfounded rumour.
