As we are delisted he can say pretty much what he likes. I'd love to see the audited 2018 accounts to have my scepticism proved wrong.

Kipppermanbike: 'bar credit' is generally a dangerous option imo! Although to be fair johnnybbad appears a genuine good egg.

Kipppermanbike: given your earlier postings I assume you chose HL as they don't charge for having a share account. They need to make money somehow so presumably do so via dealing charges for their customers. They're not going to make any money dealing FRR shares as they're not quoted so that may be why you drew a blank. Just a theory.

Personally I would have thought it would be in their interests to relist as a straightforward way of raising capital.

Zaza's suggestion that he may keep Frontera private is of concern imo. Having invested for a return, I would like the opportunity to realise it at a time of my choosing. The shares were quoted when I bought them and I suspect that all investors, like me, expected to be able to trade them as and when they pleased.
Does anyone have any positive views on the benefits of remaining off market?
Personally my guess is that a total buyout or a dividend won't happen, with a JV or farmout likely, in which case I would like to have the ability to take some profit if I choose...

Alas, I have a similar issue. All I can access is:

Linandy: as a lth with a large holding(!) the more meetings Zaza and Steve are seen having promoting the Company the better tbh. Definitely not salt in the wounds.

I received a reply from my IG contact now that he is back in the office:

"There has been an update. IG have settled all leveraged positions at zero. Which means shorts have been now received their profit - which were previously were held in proceeds account. It also means long leveraged positions have also been settled at zero and losses have been booked.
I received this this morning;
We have been notified by our broker that Frontera Resources has been removed from Crest and therefore removed off our book, which we have replicated as per procedure. We have asked if the Broker has further information on this and if we receive anymore we will send it over to you. Usually, in the majority of cases, if a stock is removed from Crest it means there is no further cash return to shareholders or a relisting. Rest assured if anything does have happen in the future we have a log of all client positions and will match the underlying market accordingly, where possible.
IG do not have a view either way and simply follow broker instructions.
I am trying to find out the process of reinstating positions both long and short, but my first thought is that it is unlikely that short positions will be reinstated at this point due to the fact if profit has been credited. There is nothing stopping that client taking their profit and closing account etc. not that it would come to that but it would be hard to enforce short losses once trades have been settled. Also clients who had short positions would have taken them against IG inventory so our broker wouldn’t not have a record of those positions. I imagine long positions will be reinstated.

The question is why has their broker (HSBC) taken this action???

Of course we know there were other French businessmen there and then there was the Georgian government delegation, so the obvious conclusion it was a front for Zaza to meet Schlumberger, Total and Georgian Government representatives, with the wine on hand to celebrate the deal.

Chris' Facebook post links are fascinating and intriguing. A meeting between the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and a small french Cognac company which, from their website, seems just that. Yet Steve and Zaza are at the meeting too! Why? Moreover Steve and Zaza are at the centre of the table opposite the Minister, clearly leading the discussion. Bizarre. They're surely not discussing purely wine! Then it appears that Steve goes on a tour of a vineyard, again seemingly the main man, yet I couldn't see Zaza in those photos. So, it seems Zaza was there just for the meeting, which suggests it wasn't just about wine as it would be rude to then skip the tour. Just when you thought things couldn't get more bizarre...
