Thanks Ashjs. Source is guardian then, not WHO directly, and that article still doesn't mention UK having 60,000 deaths, just UK is classed as part of Europe region. Though as has been pointed out, that doesn't mean we will move in kockstep with them in policies or reaults. So unless I missed it, still no source for "projection" of 60,000 deaths in UK over winter.

Any chance you can reference those 'sources' as not seen anything like that and at current ~1250 deaths a week, 4 months cycle is 16 weeks = 20,000 deaths. I realise winter may increase deaths (if no measures taken to mitigate, which seems unlikely as work from home, masking in public and covid passports could all be implemented quickly it needed without full lockdown, and honestly proba my should do soon) but tripling death rate, I'd like to see a source that's all.
