RE: I will call this6 Jul 2025 13:16
I was going to have a day off !! But i cannot allow one poster to try and use disruptive and - untruthful content to try and sway would be investors so here is what I think :
Dismissing intelligent commentary about potential hedge fund involvement in QBT as “unfounded drivel” is not only intellectually lazy—it ignores the complex realities of market behaviour and institutional trading patterns. The assertion that no significant short positions exist simply because none appear above an arbitrary threshold reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of how hedge funds operate. Many employ sophisticated strategies that involve derivatives, dark pools, or algorithmic positions that won’t show up transparently in the public short register.
To claim that major players wouldn’t touch “small-fry” ignores historical precedent. Countless microcaps have drawn institutional interest, especially in tech-heavy or speculative sectors. QBT, with its focus on quantum blockchain technology, isn’t your run-of-the-mill penny stock—it represents a disruptive possibility, which is precisely the kind of asymmetric opportunity that smart money thrives on. And the end game is ever so close IMHO.
Moreover, calling speculative discussion “ignorance and noise” is ironic considering you offer nothing but vague generalities and dismissive conjecture. Investors like myself engage in trade analysis and speculation because markets are fuelled by sentiment, positioning, and probabilities—not certainties. To ridicule that process reveals a narrow and brittle perspective.
AIM-listed stocks are undoubtedly volatile, but volatility breeds opportunity, this stock is now coming out of that stage and stability is the position it is taking, prior to news, which will blow the doors off !! Not every company folds, and to paint QBT with the same brush is to ignore its potential breakthroughs and the team behind it. In short: the market is watching—and those who only scoff at possibilities often miss the inflection point.
Good luck to all my fellow investors next week.
