Good evening all, apart from having no to little internet here I have been helping a local fisherman fix his boat. We got the drive rod out of his 60 year old boat, put a new cog on it, cleaned, greased and said a 🙏 but could we get it back in 😩 his 13 year old daughter came and fixed it straight away, apparently it’s all about entry angles and twist 😀 andreas & I have renamed her Archemedes.

Moral of the story is : when all else fails put your trust in the expert !!!

I will buy her an ice cream later when we meet up after dinner 🍦🇬🇷

Laura I know - but my wife ( dame ) not Darcy :) insists in keeping her eye in - she is an ex criminal psychologist, so as you can understand I don’t get away with anything - much 😀

Your post re updates etc was interesting Trout - i appreciate different views - it's what makes for a good understanding of stocks and ppls drivers etc.

NO i have not added for a couple of months - I have a limit on all shares graded into - blue chip - evolving recognisable names - risk reward stocks - PYC falls into the risk reward category for me & also ticks a philanthropic bone also !!

I only have £4k so it's not going to damage anything either way - but it would be nice to get back to the good old days again - that would make me very happy.

I am never negative - it is & has never been in my nature - and I also don't mind sharing certain aspects of my investing - some of which lately has been traumatic :)
