Good morning GIT, I knew this would happen. Monday, I sold a few shares anticipating a fall on Q2 figures being as expected, which it did, I go shopping and the SP goes up. I just can't win! Thankfully, I still have the bulk of my holding, so if there were to be an uplift, I'm still in the game, only at a higher break even. One day maybe?
Geng, If it goes much lower, I'll be at the bottom of the channel.
Downward pressure continues on the SP. It's almost as if someone knows I need to raise some funds and are determined to keep me struggling. My chickens are definitely roosting somewhere!
Why thank you Troa, but if you could really see me, you'd soon change yer mind, frazzled by 10 years of Wres investering.
For Old Muvver on his birthday, a smidge of blue, well I never!
Would be nice to put some lanes in and turn it into a giant lido.
Bear, there are still lots of LTH's, myself included.
What red days MIB ?
An extract from an article about Cornish Metals regarding it's tin extraction prospects.
"Britain's mining industry has been seeing a revival for several years and demand for tin is likely to keep soaring as there is not enough supply to meet the needs of companies and countries now ploughing money into what has been dubbed the 'green industrial revolution"
Let's hope comments like these help markets to focus on miners producing tin, albeit as a secondary product in Wres's case. Now come on Wres, let's have some upward movement please!
Thank you Safety. I do have a tendency to scratch and dribble so a spot in the kennel would suit me fine.
Troajan, sadly, my fingernails are nearly gone I've been hanging on so tightly, otherwise yes, but I'd have to sell my house first.
MIB, I don't like to remind myself of my situation, but at minus 87% or £127k.....ow ow ow...thats the reality as things stand. Also, there's no comfort in the fact that like a lot of LTH's, I'm not alone.
With Monday being a bank holiday, it'll be three days in a row the SP hasn't gone down, hurrah.
Stevebt, I do hope you're right! Now Mays trading is over , it's June's turn to try and lift the gloom, nice girl June...,
FFS, just how many more red days will we have to endure?
Safety, as it happens, I already get my Thursday Mail free with my card but pay on Saturday to get the included tv guide and puzzle pages. All other days I glean my news on my tablet pc for free.
From todays Daily Mail regarding the race to perfect the "Holy grail" that is nuclear fusion...
But the UKAEA team has developed an exhaust system – called the Super-X Divertor – that traps the helium, using a magnetic field, and then diverts it on a longer path until it is cool enough not to damage the walls, which are made from TUNGSTEN tiles.
Potential to change the world
Although TUNGSTEN has the highest melting point of any metal, previous designs left the exhaust gas so hot that the tiles became damaged and had to be replaced frequently – a huge expense.
So, if these reactors become reality in the future, there will be a massive demand for tungsten worldwide, and who knows, by then the water levels at LP might have dropped?
Good afternoon all. On the 19th. GIT posted the following in reply to a question from dreamy regarding the Q&A session..
"They were asked about the gold and they are progressing a deal of some sorts, it was not clear (to me at least) what type of deal."
I was under the assumption that the gold at Sao Martinho was part of the deal to secure financing from Blackrock and to state that a deal is progressing would lead me to the conclusion that MM might be trying to offset part of the loan against the assets at Sao Martinho. How this would be valued, seeing as no one has solved the geological conundrum as far as we know, could prove somewhat problematical?
Does anyone else have any thoughts on what other sort of deal could be struck, assuming the Blackrock connection is valid?
Bridge, don't mention the water :-((
Those last 114 shares sold have smudged the SP yet again.
