Agreed CF73 but they are known to drive a very tough deal, the Chinese. Hanno will need the best lawyers he can get and they don't come cheap. The cost is irrelevant. We must not be tied in to virtually impossible terms over which we may have limited control and with catastrophic penalty clauses. I have heard of other Afro-Chinese 'partnerships' like that. I have confidence in Hanno. He has served us brilliantly so far. Let's hope he gets it right, however long it takes.

The time for a share consolidation is only when the gusher is so huge that BPC has to consider paying a dividend. At that stage shaking out tiddly holders means it is cheaper for the co to hold a smaller register of shareholders and make a smaller number of divi payments.

Not until after massive RNS about JORC so they can get it away at over the 1p! So if you can pick them up cheap now (and have a high tolerance for risk!) might be time for yet another top-up.

Hi mytton. WHR invests in warehouses in general e.g lettings to engineering cos. SHED specialises in so-called 'last mile' warehousing for internet-purchased items. This is the big growth area imho.
SHED is, as far as I am aware, the only such quoted specialist in this type of investment. (On the other hand, it is AIM quoted at present!)

I think that some are worried that BPC is not going to have enough cash in hand to last to 2021 which I recollect is what it required as a term before it proceeds with the essential loan.. At present the rights literature only stated that it would have enough until mid-2020. I believe the lender may waive this requirement although I cannot be certain. The reasoning is that it will be much easier for BPC to raise the modest extra capital by private Placing on an SP which responds to drilling going ahead (perhaps 5 to 10 times todays SP). There would seem to be no logic, therefore, for the lender to back out purely for failure to comply with this particular term.
