Agreed inv4fee. RT is a very shrewd and rich old fella. This outfit has one big idea and no money. WHEN they are ready, expect something transformational - even nicer if you managed to cash most of your chips on the recent uptick and have the rest for nothing!

So it is only another question of whether and when to 'average down'. IMHO 10p or less would be a steal but may not happen. I am also concerned whether Sanjeev saves himself for now - which would to my mind not be the best long term for our company. We need a new saviour with cash in his own deep pockets to see us through the next two years. So I am going to sit on my hands for a bit and see what happens. dyor and ktf (keep the faith!)

This is why they have brought Miracle Man on to the top job. HUR can be refinanced just like any other stock but only if he can find future earnings. I suppose some of the £100m could be used to buy the dross being sold by the majors but have doubts because they would not sell if the well could pay its way.

As soon as the transaction is complete and listed on NASDAQ, our 2.3% interest will have a definitive quoted value and I anticipate it will be approx the same price as our entire listed capitalisation at present i.e all our significant other interests will be in the price for virtually nothing! That is when FFWD will begin its revaluation process. Not too long now folks!

If these fall back more I'll be tempted to go in again. Should be about 24p by my reckoning. Prime bid material at this level, I agree, but in this market impossible to predict!

It is looking like HSBC did not buy into HMI because they had researched and wanted the stock; rather that the Edwards family may have overstretched and the bank took their shares in(part?) repayment. If that is the true situation, it looks completely different. Is this your understanding?

I don't know the answer but I do know they would have done VERY extensive homework beforehand and that gives me substantial comfort.

....definitely NOT out! Still feel the pain as its SP is way below its top level and losing me quite a bit. But in a better market this will regain the £3+ and I hope for a bid in a 2yr timeframe at around £4.50.

The Placing triggered my (low) Limit Buy!!! At this price I am already up. This is one of the very few of my Flutters actually showing a paper profit. One day I expect this to take off. Just another case for the patient holder.
