That is good to hear..
Back in 2011 when my Dear old dad passed away in hospital, myself and my 2 elder brothers were so concerned about my dads “after care” (being fed watered and cleaned) being so poor, that we took it in turns to be by his side in shifts for several weeks, we only left him alone for 8 hours overnight..
I witnessed people on his ward of six pressing their button and being ignored, food being put In front of people who could not feed themselves and then being taken away, and drinks, I was feeding one Indian guy for a couple of weeks, then another guy passed away directly opposite my dad, and he was there for hours with the curtains pulled around him until the big silver box came and took him away… I am not embarrassed to say that several times I was actually reduced to a few tears at some or the things I had witnessed..
I am not knocking the medical side, but my dads aftercare was atrocious, and we did get an apology too..
