Wonder if Big Mike files a TR1 close of play/Morning for Thursdays trades - we had some junky single line volume

He could well be up to 10% but it’s not official as yet ?

Assume there is a high chance of this figure based on track record, will he stop at 10 or do an AO job on Boo and become the largest single line holder ? Will 10% give him the clout with Boo BoD? Am not sure it will, 25% would as we saw with Boo and RevB

US stocks have recorded their longest monthly winning streak in two years, as optimism about falling inflation and resilient growth encourages increasingly broad market gains.

The S&P 500 rose 3.1 per cent in July, including a 0.2 per cent gain during the final session of the month on Monday. The increase marked the fifth consecutive month higher for the blue-chip index and the longest such run since the summer of 2021.

The tech-dominated Nasdaq Composite closed up 0.2 per cent on Monday, bringing its gain since the end of June to 4 per cent.

The market rally has really reminded people why it’s just so hard to walk away from equities,” said Alex Chaloff, chief investment officer at Bernstein Private Wealth Management. “This has been one of the weirdest rallies we’ve ever had . . . [but] equities are still ripping higher.”

In the year to date, the S&P 500 is up more than 19 per cent, while the Nasdaq has soared by 37 per cent‘

Pedro, maybe PP moved on ? Or on holiday ?The poster wasn’t invested in Boo be that long or short ? What’s the point if your not here to make money ?

Obviously it’s an open BB and individuals can do with their time as they wish, but if your don’t have a position it seems such a waste of time to me - each to their own I guess

Not saying Big Mike is a black swan event but I guess that’s the 66%/33% you mentioned the other week?

And in this case we don’t know if he’s still buying / going to go to xx% and at what price he’s prepared to pay but your charts give you that 16% above the mean (50%) if that makes sense ?

Non of us PI’s move the share price, if Pedro wants to post on the BB even though not invested does it matter ?

More importantly the market knows Big Mike is on the register, COGS have been slashed, we have no debt and we will have pumped almost £200M into capex, last year / this Year and we enjoy 2 automated fulfilment centres

We can guess more TR1’s this week from MA

Speculating here but wondering what his game plan is stake wise ? AO is similar m/cap to Boo and he has taken 22%

If he did the same with Boo he could be in a position to demand representation on the BoD and possibly corporate governance changes?

Besides a favourable TU then a share buyback at these levels may well do the trick and it’s good for all shareholders

£50M may not get them 10% but it would a smart bit of business and show confidence in Boo, they have the funds and they may avoid Mike becoming the largest single line holder

MM shake to grab stock, been a daily morning occurrence

II Shorts are smart, plus we have the Long/ Short strategy funds, 3:1 stuff but they are getting close to bailing

Opportunities like this don’t come around too often for us bottom fishing PI’s, THG was obviously a good one at 38p just 7 months ago, reckon we will look back at the low 30’s at Boo as the bottom

Heaps the pressure on the Shorts, big Mike mopping up stock and we get a favourable TU.

Unless we get a TR1 reduction then he’s been mopping up in open market ? MM’s have been building book?

Hi Pipe, thanks for your views.

Suggest as Wyn says it’s about catching waves, anyone hanging for 30p missed the boat, it was punt but Big Mike likes 10% equity as a minimum, as such it was reasonable call he would re - enter the market

Personally I think he was waiting for 30p but just couldn’t get the volume and had to pay up, in affect he floored the price at 35p ish

The question is will he go to 20% + and mirror AO which has a similar M/cap to Boo?

Big Mike, TU on track feedback and Shorters and we are set up for a nice squeeze here, I don’t actively trade as you know but bottom fish / mean average/hold, each to their own

I am in position now along with dry powder if we get bad news.
