Hi guys,
Really appreciate the kind words from some of you long time posters. Caw Caw, that was not my shares being sold that you were referring to.
I'm back working downtown Calgary, two blocks from Hy's. I'll keep my eye out for Art, won't be hard to miss. I'm going to give him an earful if I ever come across him.
Just wanted to wish you all the best!
Cheers,
Berta
Hey guys, I ended up selling out a little while ago at a loss. I don't for one second think Art has the capability of pulling this off without issuing billions more shares. He's a parasite and has never given two sh*ts about shareholders. I hope he's reading this, I tried reaching out to him multiple times very courteously and never heard squat. He's an embarrassment of a CEO and the position the company is in now speaks volumes to that. I can guarantee you all one thing, you have not disappointed by him for the last time.
Good luck,
Oilberta403
Yeah I'm sorry to be pessimistic but I can only speculate based on Art's horrific track record. Sorry to hear about your job loss Demon... Plenty of those here in Alberta too...
Is my prediction for another extension RNS.
Probably 6-7 Billion by the time we drill if not more. That is if we even drill too lol
Art delivering way before the deadline? The original deadline was July 9, and he's now on his second extension. He's a lying pos
2021* not gonna happen this year .
So is COPL still going to be bought out? LOL what a load of ****e. Hoping we drill by the end of 2020. Might have a few more shares out by then. Great job Art, keep up the good "work".
The deal gets done by December.
Actually, we don't have a lot of cash lol. They just paid down $1.6 million in debt. So barely any cash from the two raises left. I expect another raise in a month or two just to keep the lights on, hopefully drilling by the end of 2021... The way Art keeps dishing shares out makes it our share price appreciation harder and harder.
Bolton, I don't think we will. Art is using COPL has a vehicle to pay his fat salary. We've all been had yet again. Total conman with NO regard for shareholders.
Far too many shares out now, this is laughable. Art gas conned us good. Told you, never trust that man. I wouldn't be surprised if OPL226 never gets drilled, he's clearly milking this cow dry, shareholders get screwed as always
This company is such a POS. Art has conned us all.
I feel like we're close Jiving, but it's hard to get excited based on how Art's past and the countless failed timelines. I remain cautiously optimistic.
Hopefully we get the news we're looking for and not another two week delay... wouldn't be surprised though and certainly not holding my breathe knowing how Art and timelines go.
reading all this nonsense about COPL being bought out, not a God damn chance that happens. There are far, far better M&A deals to be had in the oil and gas sector than COPL no offense. That is the biggest "ramp" statement I have read on this page omg lol.
News next Monday, July 20! We're close now guys!
Thanks for following up my post with that link. Very informative for the folks on the board. As I pointed out and is confirmed in that article, the geological information we have so far indicates a very high quality reservoir! Which, is also one of the attractive feature of the Niger delta as indicated by the plethora of activity in surrounding blocks :)
CawCaw is right to say "it might". Nothing is a guarantee including OPL 226. Remember, they are drilling an appraisal well on the NOA-1 discovery which was NOT flow tested in 2001. An appraisal well is crucial in determining the commercial viability of the reservoir. The success of the first appraisal well is crucial; the data that was collected from the 2001 drill (30% porosity and permeability; 1000 millidarcies) suggests that the geology is highly favorable, however they won't know for 100% sure until they punch an appraisal well. A permeability of 1000 md (1 Darcy) is extremely encouraging though, this indicates a very high quality reservoir.
Closing of the placing and admission of shares to the LSE. The news regarding the new deal is due next week (i.e. 35 days since June 4th RNS). Like I said though, Art and timelines go together like sh*t on bread.
