No chance of a buy out, my original thinking was also a bounce into delisting but now suspect we have had the bounce it seems to have found a level and why buy now at 0.60 when you could have got 0.31.
That aside genuinely hope you all recover your losses.

Thanks Djp and The.Italian the normal format indeed the original Melody app format was to recruit beta testers, it may be that it is being done in secret! it was just that I cant find anything not even on the current app recruiting customer testers. So I suspect release will be way beyond the announced Feb date. I’m just about double bagged from where I came back in, holding 239k shares, imo still worth a speculative long term punt, not actually that concerned about the release date was just interested to know if there were any updates around beta testing. If as I have seen suggested 10p before delist (lol) or even 2p before delist (smaller lol) or even a buy out by Spotify (double lol) I will take the money and run. Otherwise will hang in and wait to see what happens long term.

If you are pointing towards institutional investors they are also suffering losses so not such great vision there after all. If they were that good they would have done the same as me and come in or back in (in my case) at 0.30. Should I take that as a stepford investor no comment?

Is there any news of beta testing? Having done a quick search the only thing I have seen refers to the 2003 updated Naps App and beta testers being recruited from Aug 2002. If it’s not in beta mode at the moment, the 2002 - 2003 timeline indicates it’s unlikely to be Feb.

I think the fact that they have said the App release will be at the end of Feb doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed certainly not based on track record so far. My own feelings are that the ethical position would have been to release the App before delisting to allow investors to view the App before making decisions to stay in or sell up.

Wow Horse, 50p drop since it’s year high, £800,00 worth of sales with a sales target of 10,000 units per year, looks like another long term die of old age waiting for something to happen share.

Hi Italian, just to confirm I emailed HL this week, they confirmed by email that the shares would be held on my account as non trading shares until such time as they are re-listed.

Absolutely none of them were Chinese tech Albert, all US companies (data source CNBC) with so many not being fully subscribed in 2021 you would need a serious change of investor appetite.

Equally why do you think it would be higher, of the 55 tech companies to IPO in America in 2021 all bar one have dropped by at least 20% below their IPO price with several not being fully subscribed. In a few cases the drop since the commencement of trading has been as much as 50% to 70%. Tech generally seems to be considered high risk at the moment with no way of knowing if that will change before the re-listing

In the main they tend to be fairly small buys cost wise, some may think it’s a small price for a long term punt, i day traded immediately after the delisting announcement and made enough to buy 239k at a very low price for a small long term punt, I’ve seen that price increase since my buy, but have yet to decide whether to hang on to all of them or get rid of half for a quick profit. Watching the price to see what it does as we get closer to delisting. But I am prepared to hang on for the punt if the price drops and I lose the selling opportunity.

Hargreaves Lansdown will hold the shares in a customers account until such times as they re-list, the shares cannot be traded on a platform once delisted. You are running short of time but it may still be possible to open an account with a platform that will hold there shares and transfer your holding to the new platform.

But as I said that’s because I’m so certain of what it could and should have been.
