Carr Gomm homeless and housing support on Soroba are also open and have an emergency telephone number on their website. The Salvation Army does a daily pick up from outside the church on Stephenson Street, I think they take you to the hostel in Fort William, and there is a 24 hour emergency homeless telephone number on the council website. Hope Cafe Albany Street is closed today but provides meals for those who need assistance. Hope that helps.

The place to look for information is people’s posting history so many clues as to their entry level based around first post timing, comments about buys comparing dates and sp etc to work out how far under they are, averaging down, etc, no better indication to their motives in posting

Thanks beast, ‘very hopeful’ some people seem to have translated that to there will be a sale, and ‘end of year’ very ambiguous. Overall the message wasn’t clear or strong enough to push past that 3p barrier so I feel we would all have been better served by a clearer more precise statement and maybe cutting back on the faff.

Bfl firstly the wording from memory was hopeful, never actually said there would be a sale and secondly nothing said to give an impression or indication that would suggest end of calendar year, end of financial year (April) or end of company reporting year

DR, if people are particularly vocal either for or against a share I would of course look at their posting history where else would I be able to work out their entry point, and thus establish their possible motives for their posts and whether they are someone who’s posts I consider have any value. I call that research.

Cheers Toffers, some doubts about recent director sells, that said plenty of buy recommendations and target prices with a low spread of between 18 and 20 against a closing price of 7.9 so plenty of scope for a quick turnaround and that’s before the assay results are released, maybe the right time to get onboard. My little investment club did look at Pan African Resources but the agreed feeling is that it’s one for the back pocket and not quite the right time, waiting to hear more from their tailings wash patents.

Ipaynuffin, poster here since July 2020 so I assume invested around the same time, share price 22p still here recently topped up, share price 3p. Within 3 months you could have got out with a tasty profit. and plenty of opportunities to get back in and out again with a profit since then

Ipaynuffin He actually. Some companies beat the AIM odds but historically and proven by the failure rate the best way to beat the odds is short term investing, but each to their own opinion, and each to their own investment policy.

Thanks Toffers, I’ve posted multiple times about the risk of investing in AIM companies longer than 6 months , and the stats around 72% of companies permanently devaluing or delisting, but some people either ignore or haven’t researched the risk levels. I invested here 20 and 21 both short term, both with profit, and recently invested as a small odds punt, but if it comes off it will pay for a decent holiday 😎.
