I believe the placing was to fund the drilling / exploration of WN C&D. If (big IF) WN B1 proves the extent of the field then looking at the data, C&D should strike lucky.

As you have said in the past, a house with planning permission is worth more than just a house.

Considering the SP when the first rig at WN showed up dropped a couple of points, I would expect the same for the big rig.

Once Wressle is on line a couple of points northward.

If WM rig hits to good stuff, then maybe another couple of points northward.

I don't see this being much higher than mid 0.20s come Christmas time.

Unless there is an RNS stating that there will be a placing, no. No placing in the near future.

As today's RNS clearly states a number of times, all CURRENT projects are fully funded and there is still cash in the bank.

Once Wressle comes on line, there will be additional income. That said, there is a sizable loan to pay off if /when COMMERCIAL volumes of oil flow.

Not much is going to happen with the SP until the main rig hits site at WN. then there will be a very tense 6 -10 wait to see if the PREDICTED gas and (bonus) oil are present. If they are, then SP Angel's broker's note will most likely ring true.

What we saw last week was a rumour based on lies and obvious market manipulation. The tree took a good shaking and the faint of heart dropped out.

Personally, I shall be holding out for the grand prize in a couple of month's time.

AFTER that, there MAY well be a placing to fund WN C&D, assuming the planning consent has gone through.

Pretty sure the main rig had been ordered months ago. Thats a given.

In order to accomodate the main rig, the first rig will need to be packed away and taken off site.

I see this as a couple of weeks away, looking at the activities on site from the twitter photos (not the soap dodger ones).

If I'm wrong, the main rig turns up next week and we hit that 3p prediction of yours, I will gladly apologise and get you an autographed WN oil barrel from DB and pack it full of dairy milk.

WN has the smaller rig finishing up soon. The main rig should be on site within a couple or three weeks. Once it is set up, it will take between 6 - 10 weeks to find its target. At that point you should see an uptick, a serious one if it hits the bullseye. I believe someone mentioned the 19th November.

Having just checked maps, earth and streetview, perhaps one of the strangers to clean bathwater can explain where the new build house and the house next to it with the gleaming white soffit boards are in relation to the rig?

Off site fabrication implies steel welded.

Depends what they are installing.

If it is your standard 4" HDPE pipe with fusion welds, then this is relatively quick and easy.

If it is welded steel section, using coded welders and a requirement to x ray every weld, then that takes a lot longer.

Granted, the emergency solenoid shut off valves will need to be commissioned, tested and proved before National grid will go anywhere near it.

If it is welded pipe-in-pipe, then that takes forever.

In all cases, the pipework will need to be strength tested and nitrogen purged before it can be charged and allowed to flow.

I watch the graphs, trades and RNS.

Mainly the graphs.

I have been investing for over a decade in various shares and started to notice patterns years ago.

Only since this lockdown malarky, have I really had the time to observe on a closer basis.
A share can be going great guns all week and then Thursday it drops back to where it was at the beginning of the week. Friday seems to be recovery day.

So far this is true of LLOY, BARC, CCL, ANGS and others.

Just an observation and something I was joking about with my wife. Then it became a repeating pattern over a number of different companies.

Probably just my ADHD and OCD (those are not ticker codes BTW) . Not an actual investment strategy.

Having watched the markets like a hawk for the last 6 months, it is usually Thursday that everything takes a dive.

I have my theories on this, but they are best kept to myself.

The planning application needs to be in by close of business tomorrow.

Wait for the RNS for confirmation.
