My understanding of the planning approval situation is that there is a backlog at the planning office and applications and appeals are currently taking 48 - 52 weeks.

Considering our appeal was lodged in November of last year, I wouldn't expect to see anything before October time.

Someone did mention that they had called the local planning authority and had a response that it should be decided by the end of this month.

Doesn't the SP have to be around 1.65p before it makes it worth PF's while to sell?

If this is the case, anyone with an average above 1.65p may want to average down now before PF dumps a shedload on the market at that price.

Roadhouse has a prediction of 2.5 - 3p for the company. Considering the wealth of assets ANGS currently have at SFBY, plus gas storage. What do you reckon a reasonable price for the whole company would be ?

I'm going slightly optimistic and reckon 3-4p per share in the event of a sale.

ANGS like to be fashionably late with everything they complete and I don't see them looking to break the habit of a lifetime now.

I see on twitter, rumour has it that Trafigura are on site today. They own part of the local refinery.

Could be an offer in the pipeline. (Pun intended)

I have just tied to purchase an amount of shares and this had to be done in 4 tranches.

It would appear that there are only 1813 shares available to buy at this time.

Does anyone have sight over tier 2? Can they tell how many shares are available? Just out of interest.

As a Mechanical engineer, the idea of geothermal fascinates me. Particularly as I was married to an Icelandic lass and heard the tales of the Icelanders not having to pay for heating or hot water, as it was to all intents and purposes free to generate.

That is a completely different scenario to what it is possible to achieve in the UK.

In order to generate steam, a geothermal well would need to be over two miles or three kilometers deep. That is of course not allowing for the temperature drop as the heated water travels to ground level.

As we are not parked on top of several active volcanos, the idea of geothermal in the UK is just that. I nice idea.

Don't forget they will need a Riva Aquarama each to show the Italians exactly how successful they are, as they both zip off to the Hotel Cipriani for lunch...on the shareholder's coin.

I'm looking forward to picking up about 8Bn shares for £50 by the end of the year.
