Dg221 - totally agree, and to stop spending on the renovation now you won't get to realise the capital generated from the finished project. Simply put but that's the idea.
If MM's vision of DTC really is going to be the future, which I believe it is, then setting up and completing the global infrastructure to be ready for the shift is a race against time to ensure THG is leading the way. Once that position is achieved expenditure should slow and the benefits should begin to be realised.
Although a higher SP is something all long term investors would be happy with right now the SP was never MM's vision and isn't his number one priority right now but I feel assured that growing his company and making it successful is.

1 No reason beauty shouldn't be as profitable as any other beauty company.
2 Ingenuity is still a developing business that is still burning capex but with the potential to be a mega DTC business which I believe will become the future for most if not all businesses.
3 Yes nutrition is already a successful business which is still growing and should be valued on its own at a far higher market than the sum of the current whole business put together.
Time and an improved economic outlook is all that's required here to allow MMs full vision to come to fruition. Although admittedly the long wait isn't without some frustrations.

The SP down here again was unexpected for me. Do we actually know who is selling at these levels? It defies common sense to me or are we to just keep blaming shorters algos?
Is there anyone that reads this board that is selling down here, and if so are they able to explain their reasoning?
For the record I believe in the company enough to be in here quite heavy but it's not been easy to hold.

Jeez, I remember being in here at £1.50 arguing that the shorters target of 60p was ludicrous.

My thoughts exactly, 55p yesterday morning, this share almost has my resolve broken. Happily accept a 70p bid at moment just to get shot of the lot.

This has been almost everyday losses since 8th January 2021, made the mistake of thinking it was turning several times. Mind you it's the whole of UK retail looking screwed not just THG.

I thought it was already a well known fact that the city doesn't like MM and there is obviously a vendetta to shed negative light on both from from every media source they have access to.
Important to realise that is the only reason we've been able to buy in down at these prices. Hard numbers showing THG heading in the right direction is probably the only thing that will force the city to change its stance. If you believe in the company take your position and wait.

Agreed Lucker, my reference to the FTSE100 approaching all times was purely an indicator that things generally are nowhere near as bad as those with control of the media would have you believe.

FTSE 100 approaching all time highs and tech/retail stil 75% down, The public is being bombarded with FUD from all media sources resulting in tech/retail stocks 75% plus down, meanwhile the FTSE100 is approaching all time highs. The world as we know it hasn't really changed, wealth is changing hands, when the financial elite have taken their positions watch the media views change and these SPs fly. It's all a big game. At this point in time those that can sit on their hands for the longer term will be the winners.

Tango, I'm invested both here and RevB, I agree with you post and sentiment but must point out RevB were never more than £10, IPO was approx £1.70 and only dropped since, I'd be happy with £1.70 again to be honest, for starters anyway.

And there we have it, yet another vote of confidence regards the direction Revolution Beauty is headed and we can be sure before this kind of investment their due diligence will have left no stone unturned.
I feel there will be a frantic race to get in here at first opportunity, exciting times for those of us that took the decision to hold fast.

It appears they didn't need to look very hard to find a temporary CEO and having seen behind the curtain he's now happy to take a full time position with immediate effect so what do you mean no-one will touch it?
We all know the situations that created the perfect storm which dropped the SP from 130p to where it is now. If the company continues to trade successfully, which by all accounts it looks to be, dependant on the content of the RNS accompanying it's exit from suspension I see no reason why it can't return to 40p, 60p or 80p, far exceeding a 200% rise.
Regardless there is sod all any one of us can do about it anyway so I'm struggling to fathom your reasoning behind constantly trashing the company with you negativity.
If by chance it does open at 4p I'll be the first to congratulate you on your valuable insight but FFS until then try and give it a rest.

Investors in VRS have been saying the same thing for several years, despite all of the RNS's, speculation and hints during this period orders are something that VRS finds extremely elusive. I still think it's questionable the they are able to produce high grade in any commercially viable quantity. I feel it will be another disappointing year for numbers but then being a previous investor here for a number of years perhaps I'm biased. Good luck.

Neill - anyone forecasting a return here to 40p or £1 is no more of a clown than yourself forecasting 4p. You really have no idea either so perhaps try winding your neck in and wait to see what happens. Good day all.

Neill, not sure on your basis for arriving at 4p, just as likely 40p, will purely depend on the content of the accompanying RNS when it comes out of suspension. Looking at the business as a whole and witnessing how it is currently performing I tend to feel it will open to the upside but all we can do is wait. Until then we're all tied into it together. I'm uncertain but I do have a family member working in the mortgage department of a building society that are seeing cancellations a no d turning down mortgages by the bucket load, they are internally expecting a 20% drop. Difference this time is the shear volume of people that have mortgaged to the hilt on the artificially low mortgages that have been offered over the last several years that will plunge into negative equity. Don't make the mistake in thinking that this is a situation that has happened by accident.
