And I thought it was common practice for the market to receive a reassuring RNS from the chairman when there were falls of over 10% in the SP.

Seriously does that man not have a legal obligation to shareholders? How is it possible for the chairman, whole board and all large institutional investors to remain so quiet? Defies any logic to me.

It was suggested on this board that one of the tactics MA uses is CFDs to drive the price down while buying in.

I have no evidence myself that this is the case but I'm sure he will use any means at his disposal.

Possibly, by running his CFD alongside the shorters algos to get in at a lower price but surely that has to stop somewhere.

Genuine question, if shorters can use their influence and tactics to negatively impact a SP so drastically why don't large institutional investors use opposing tactics to sustain or drive a price up? Strange that there has been no averaging down at these levels.

It must turn, the answer is to keep buying 🤷

And it's totally ironic that the same market that MM despises valued his company at 500p at IPO, allowed him to sell up there and then create a situation for him that allowed him to buy them back for 32p. Makes you wonder if the whole MM against LSE has been a sham and they've been his number one ally all along 🤔

Meanwhile you have those in the know, Moulding and Ashley buying up every share they can get their hands on. Anyone honestly think they would be doing this if THG had no future? I think it's more likely to be Ashley's shenanigans pulling down the price, the shorters can't feel like there is much left in it for them here now 🤷

Ok, with with these two possibilities in mind where do we see the SP going over the next 12 months?

Important to remember it's only the SP that has been sabotaged by Mouldy and Lucan to suit their own agendas, both companies need to perform for them to benefit in the long run.

So who exactly keeps selling their shares at ever increasing lows that will allow him to take it back for f all?

I find it absolutely dumbfounding.

Looking at the trading patterns some entity continues to pull down hard here, I don't feel it's anything to do with the business, it's personal against Mouldy and the waste of space chairman. Unfortunately the losers in this tug of war are the investors, not mouldy himself 🤷

And the absolute and total pain of holding THG shares continues.

What's the next catalyst or have we none left?

As much as I have been disappointed and directly financially impacted by Mouldings ego, arrogance, decision making and his personal crusade against the city I genuinely don't believe that after a successful IPO this is where he wanted to be. For all some of the disastrous 96% fall can be attributed directly to his actions let us not forget the effects of lockdowns, a war and a generally poor economic period. I know it's easy to keep shouting shorters from the tree tops but it's also true to say shorters antics can only be successful over the long term because PIs here continue to sell at all time lows.

I can't blame Moulding for taking advantage of the situation when he's been given it but I'd say it was far from expected or planned.

In my mind the company is in the strongest position it has been since IPO and with a SP of only 36p is valued at a mere fraction of its peers, the only way is up from here and if Moulding can keep his head down and concentrate on better governance and numbers there is no reason why we shouldn't see a substantial rerate.

At least we can look forward to THG leaving the FTSE250 at the next review

Well if in any doubt put a sell limit on all of your shares and then they can't, easy.

I really did think we would get our day long before ASOS, it will come....

And I really did expect to see a steady uptick from all time lows in the lead up to inclusion, not the first time any of us have been so wrong here however. Very disappointing so far.

Yep, they've been shaking the tree now solid for about 4 years.

The buying frenzy and squeeze does not appear to be starting today then.

That appears to be a very long winded way of saying that if Cirata actually does something that makes people want to buy it's shares the price will go up, same as any other share.

In the meantime they've done almost nothing and here we are.

To be fair that's the way I felt about Moulding when I first started investing here some 4 years ago, it's been a disappointing few years since and I only hope that with the achievement of inclusion in the 250 he will adopt slightly different tactics and take up the fight on the side of his long-term supporters and investors instead of a crusade against the city.

Perhaps short it? As despairing as it is It's the only solution here I can think of that could make money

HH, I wouldn't try to get yourself too technical here,it's been going down almost since IPO, the golden share going was supposed to make a difference, a new chairman was supposed to make a difference, a positive swing in FX was supposed to make a difference, getting rid of the financial burden of ingenuity was supposed to make a difference, leaving the AIM was supposed to make a difference, inclusion to the FTSE is said will make a difference bit THG history suggests otherwise. Not enough investors want to invest in the egotistical mad man that is Mathew Moulding and here we are.
