I can't be bothered, but if you now compare the number of words posted by yourself with those posted by me, I'm not sure who it is who has posted the most.

The update is from this last week and is entirely sensible: there's little point in taking things further without any likelihood of being able to carry your resolutions at the GM.

It's an obvious point, but the near-5% of support for Rodders Jones's resolutions are on a purely indicative basis: nobody would vote for his resolutions until they are completed by resolutions proposing a credible alternative management team.

Nobody can know in advance the take-up of an open offer, so the placing will be for the amount UKOG consider necessary to raise and anything raised via the open offer will be in addition to that.

MPs "represent" their constituency. That doesn't mean that an MP should be equated with the, say, 60,000 constituents in his/her constituency.

I'm not sure you've understood my post.

I was speaking of derampers, ie. those who are negative about UKOG and frequently post their negative opinions on this board.

To be an investor in UKOG and criticise some of management's actions doesn't make you a deramper, that just means you're an investor in possession of his/her critical functions.

Derampers are, by definition, negative about UKOG.

Rodders Jones is negative about UKOG's management, he has "grown a dislike of the behaviours of management".

Rodders Jones's initiative is supported by a figure approaching 5% of share capital.

You don't seek to topple management because you have developed a dislike of them, you seek to topple management because you are trying to achieve something positive.

This is very basic stuff, I'm surprised to find myself writing it.

If you want to topple management, what do you need?

1/ 15%, 20%, 25% of capital would be a useful starting-point;
2/ a credible slate of new management candidates;
3/ a positive new management strategy around which to rally the troops.

The shareholder rights activists HAVE achieved something, the proposal of an open offer to accompany a placing, which will be voted on this coming Monday.

Personally, I've always thought of the market as being forward-looking, so I am surprised the market is not yet forward-looking in ANGS's case (Zak Mir mentioned the market looking backwards in his interview with GL of last Thursday).

For myself, it's an anomaly which I don't understand and a further opportunity to top up at these give-away prices.

Imho, given the choice between "a dislike of the behaviours" of management and Turkey, shareholders will plump for Turkey.

Rodders Jones is, effectively, attempting to mount a coup.

But, for that to stand any chance of success, he needs to have a positive and profitable vision for UKOG around which shareholders can rally.

Rodders Jones's narrative is entirely negative, he has "grown a dislike of the behaviours" of management.

HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH would have been more appropriate than NOT.
