The board have announced the planned spin-off of the Greenland portfolio, that should have prompted a substantial rise in the share price (imho), but it didn't.

I fail to see what more the board can do.

It is up to the market and, therefore, PIs, to buy into this stock for its prospects, which are both for the near and the long term.

Electricite de France SA is shutting its Dungeness nuclear power station with immediate effect, seven years sooner than planned.

The two 40-year-old reactors, which have been offline for about three years due to “significant” technical challenges, won’t restart, the company said on its website. EDF said in April that it was considering several options for the nuclear plant including closing it for good.

The U.K. will need nuclear power to help meet its pledge to zero out emissions by 2050. Closing the nation’s aging fleet earlier than planned will fuel concerns that power plants will use more polluting gas instead to fill the supply gap left by intermittent renewables, slowing the energy transition... Agreed, Lucky-Strike, the figures GL is talking about bear no relation to ANGS's market cap and, agreed again, we could be talking about a market cap approaching £100m (but not immediately!).

That would certainly help to get the placing away, if one investor was to take a substantial chunk.

PS: those entitled to participate in the open offer will be those who are shareholders at the record date , likely to be the day before the announcement.

It's the open offer that will be interesting, because they have to fix the price in line with the placing but the offer is likely to remain open for, say, about 3 weeks, while the share price itself may be rising.

Watershed moment? It's possible.

It is so much easier to criticise than to construct.

The market cap and liquidity are too low for hedge funds. That may come in the future, but we're not there yet.

GF has a legal background, Alba are always careful in their choice of words which is why, when they are enthused, one pays attention.

From these tables it can be seen that, at the grades stated, the minimum Exploration
Target of 70Mt of material would, if verified, equate to a further 3Mt of contained
ilmenite and the maximum Exploration Target of 300Mt of material would, if verified,
equate to a further 33Mt of contained ilmenite.
Even at the lower end of the Exploration Target range, therefore, if proven up by
subsequent drilling this would result in a significant uplift in the current contained
ilmenite of 1.7Mt per the existing maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Project,
with the result that the contained ilmenite would increase to 4.7Mt in total.
