I think UKOG is undergoing/has undergone a quiet transformation which, in their own inimical way, derampers have just confirmed, by complaining about the absence of the next placing.

...and the company will want the highest price it can get away whilst ensuring the placing is a success.

It's amusing, for ages the complaint was about the number of placings being made by UKOG and now, the complaint is about ... the absence of a placing!

All in good time, UKOG give the impression of being in no great hurry, they are better-placed than anybody on this board to know how things stand.

Again, may be wrong, but suspect that relations between UKOG and AME are good, better than a number of PIs have allowed for.

Quiet trading day so far, 31.2m shares.

Archive material is doubtless of interest to archivists, but the market has had years in which to take account of this material, so it is all in the share price.

What can change the share price is what is not already discounted in it.

The market is forward-looking, so investors have to be forward-looking, too.

The market is forward-looking, so today's oil price is of the greatest relevance to UKOG's prospective operating margin in Turkey. It is much more positive for UKOG for Brent to be around $73 than around $40, as it was when UKOG first announced its plans for Turkey (RNS of 23/07/20).

As far as I can see, all is proceeding on, and under, the ground very well indeed, exceeding the company's own expectations.

In addition, the IPO of Greenland Listco raises the prospects of achieving an appropriate market valuation of the Greenland portfolio, almost totally absent from Alba's market cap at the present time.

Far from moaning, I think shareholders should be congratulating Alba on the progress being made (but you can't please all of PIs all of the time).
