What a histrionic subject title!

When posters resort to a subject-title such as this, we can all see something is wrong.

Was the first day of the Loxley inquiry as bad as all that?

Thought there was a hint of a better tone to the share price today, we shall see.

Has the release of this RNS after hours cleared the way for another RNS on a different subject tomorrow morning?

If anything, I would have thought this result is mildly positive for the company.

Despite the share price holding below the offer price of 0.18p for most of the period of the offer, they still managed to raise almost £500k.

Respectable result given the performance of the share price during the offer.

Not the most efficient manner to raise about £500k, but that is what shareholders imposed upon the company by failing to vote for resolution 6 at the AGM.

Re Basur-3, have a memory of SS speaking in terms of 2 months in one of his videos.

The offer has duly been raised as a result.

They show yesterday as a 16% SELL, but it was 8% when I looked yesterday - not sure precisely when barchart updates its opinions.

The 50-day moving average is down to 0.192p, the 200-day at 0.170p, so the two are very close and getting closer.

The lenders had no lack of time in which to conduct their due diligence, so believe the probability of success at Saltfleetby is high.

Natural gas futures remain very encouraging for the first half of 2022, before the hedge at 43p kicks in.

Re Lidsey, we may receive an update fairly soon.

Geothermal is for the longer term, but it is clear they are investing a lot of their time in it.

Some of the recent defeatism has been founded upon ignorance of how the markets work.

To suggest, as some did, that the reason for the delay in UKOG's placing was because they couldn't raise the required funds revealed a basic lack of understanding of the markets.

Given the ambient defeatism of so many, and the fact that I am a long-term investor in UKOG, I have no objection at all to Mm's enthusiasm.

But the key point is that nobody knows in advance the results of Basur-3, so all opinions are currently of equal validity.

I am not trying to prove anything, I am expressing my personal opinion on the basis of the information available to me.

Rodders Jones rendered a service to us all in putting a figure on the % of shareholders who "have grown a dislike" for management, about 7.15%.

Rodders Jones was trying to drum up support for his stance so either he went about it the wrong way or the support he collected put a figure on the shareholders with a negative opinion who agreed with him at the time.

The answer, at least in part, is that it is easier to look back in the knowledge of what transpired than to look forward and anticipate what will happen.

My opinion is "strong buy" which I have explained in previous posts.

The fact of 7.15% (if I remember right) of support amongst shareholders for Rodders Jones's campaign headlined his site, which he updated each week.

All are free to judge for themselves the percentage of posts on this board which are negative, but my opinion is that it exceeds by a very large margin 7.15%.

PS: if you think you've got a "guaranteed" limit, check the small print for a get-out clause along the lines of "exceptional market circumstances".

Doubt any of the posters are short, that really would be a high-risk position to take at the moment, with the share price so low and news from Basur-3 due almost any time.

If you're long, you can't lose more than 100%. If you're short, and find yourself confronted by a sudden hike in the share price, your losses can exceed 100% (you can put in limits, but you still need to be able to execute at those limits).
