(Alliance News) - GreenRoc Mining PLC on Tuesday said it had discovered a graphite deposit in its Greenland licenses that could be of "global significance" ... (from ALBA Share news above).

A reminder that, on the basis of the information provided by GROC on page 10 of its presentation of 28/09, and taking the mid-point of their figures, annual revenues at Amitsoq in 2027 are estimated at 311.55m euros:

Conceptual annual production:
• 300-400kt ore @ 20% graphite for 60-80kt
graphite concentrate, yielding:
• 9,000 to 12,000t of +150µm >95% graphite
(present sales price ca €1,100/t)
• 51,000 to 68,000t/y of -150µm >95% graphite
for production of 25 to 35kt/y HPSG (present
sales price of ca €10,000/t cHPSG)

So, say:

10,500t at 1,100 euros/t of graphite = 11.55m euros
+
30,000t at 10,000 euro/t = 300m euros

= total annual sales of 311.55m euros.

It's not every day one sees an RNS statement such as the above so worth repeating. Words doubtless chosen with great care, accepted by the Nomad and the competent person, Mark Austin.

And it's not just the geographical extent, it's also the grades:

In fact, far from "never ending bad news", this has been a better year for UKOG to date including, notably, the Loxley appeal decision in its favour and, more recently, a new government which attaches importance to energy independence.

It hasn't been a question of "never ending bad news" this year but, for the present, it is a question of no news.

We await progress updates re Basur-Resan and Loxley's pre-planned farm-out programme.
