Now is the time to buy, after the price came down on a mis-reading of this morning's announcement from the EU.

Hold on everyone - the projects announced today as Strategic Projects are only those in EU countries. Partner countries and oversea country and territories (OCT) ie including Greenland and Norway will be announced separately as it says in the letter from the EU: 'The adoption of Strategic Projects in third countries or in overseas countries or territories will take place in the coming weeks.'

Attractively presented.

Most of the 11 graphite projects selected concern processing. 2 concern extraction, in Romania and in Sweden.

The Commission will soon announce a new call for Strategic Project applications, currently planned for end of summer.

It looks as if GROC has attracted the attention of some pump and dump merchants.

I've not found confirmation of the 25/03 date from any other source than that cited on the GROC board.

None of this detracts from GROC's quality and the fact that SB has been looking for a decision re strategic projects under the CRMA around about now.

The final results could see some red ink, that's for sure, but, given the current market cap of £1.85m, that should all be in the share price. Indeed, confirmation of impairments may help to "clear the decks".

Appears to be the reason for a revival of activity in GROC, currently up 6.4% in volume of nearly 3m shares.

With an estimate of £20-25k, the opening bid price of £12k doesn't look particularly ambitious but, of course, we shall soon learn more.

If the discussions with several energy infrastructure investors are brought to a satisfactory conclusion and one or more stake(s) in UKEn is/are sold to such (an) investor(s), then:

1/ it would further reinforce the credibility of the project via the private sector;

2/ provide initial guidance as to the current market valuation of UKEn.

Take out Alba's 28.14% of GROC (current market cap of £2.95m) and North Wales is currently valued in the market at £0.56m.

Given the opening bid of £12k for the 1 ounce Clogau gold coin is pitched at a premium of 410% to the spot price, it is possible Alba's share price does not reflect its full potential.

Spot gold closed the week at GBP 2,339.05.

The opening bid is, therefore, 5.1x this price and the premium 410%.

Estimate: £20k -£25k.
