Jttalv, the tanker numbers are indicative but I'm sure that ukog cannot rip the backside out of it. They may or may not be too far off the mark but I don't expect 16 tankers for 4 months and then a step down to 12 overnight. Don't loose the fact that 16 tankers equates to 500 tonnes, over which additional environmental red tape is required. Coincidence?
Earlier predictions from xodus, not ukog, were in the 700-1100 bopd range. I have a hunch that this well might deliver more than that based on recent learnings communicated by UKOG and their commentary.
All I can say for sure on this matter is that I've lost count of the times when YA convert to for example 123,456,789 shares and before the conversion is announced there will be chunky trades and one of them will end with 456,789 shares. That's all I can say.
I'm no expert in these things but YA sell shares before they receive the official converted shares from ukog. That is short in my book. This occurred during BB and it's happening now. It's either not breaking the terms of the loan, or ukog are turning a blind eye so as not to bite the hand that feeds them. I suspect the latter.
Stocktaker, YA converted in a downward market during the BB shambles and they will do so here if the volume is there. YA selling and the spectre of YA putting off buyers is whats holding us back. Another excellent rns btw.
Blade, correct. Plans change as data is coming in on a daily basis which may alter forward ops.
Maybe 2300ft is correct and the extra 40ft will allow the logging kit to run past the bottom of the cored area. It would be beneficial to explain changes to recent plans when they are announced, if nothing else to stop the vultures picking up on them. GL.
Adrian, for info i'm not a trader an I am IN. Just trying to make sense of very recent updates vs Fridays as any investor should do. I'm a big supporter of the eyes on here and on twitter. You got this call wrong my friend. GL.
Fair enough Penguins 1500-2. It's not any individual posts that I roll my eyes at, ( I agree with you a fair few times) but the tone of each and every one of them. I'm all for a balanced board but id rather it was from balanced posters, not equal number of uber rampers and derampers. You are not a balanced poster. You say you're invested.... I'd love to know what motivated you to purchase shares and why you haven't sold them as I have yet to see anything even remotely positive in your posts.
Imo, 1st 2 wells will be in the Portland, 3rd drill will be water injection. All depends on the definition of early in early pressure support. Months, year? That plus it's a costly business disposing of produced water. Win win to pump it back from where it came.
It's a matter of when not if water is produced and I'm sure that the derampers will jump all over it when we do see a water cut . I've seen anything from 5% to 30% water content reported from onshore and offshore wells recently.
