Agree Pander but I’m no longer day trading, just looking to build a value and diverse portfolio from here - I don’t want to be greedy and miss the bottom so I’m paying my joining fee to get in the game. Still only 50-60% in.

The cleansing certainly seems to have slowed down, no doubt there will be some continued volatility and some big down days but I’m certainly bullish at sub 5000 and really don’t see us below 4500. Lots of bargains to get you back to seven figures if you diversify away from mainly US Tech ?!

Jim is the only disappointment to be honest - as a fanatical branch davidian he's been spoiling for a fight for a couple of weeks now - hence deliberately taking issue with my 250k jibe aimed at bigjoke by pretending it was aimed at him.

Disappointing, as I thought he was a bit more switched on and wouldn't get sucked it to the inane ramblings of a complete fantasist. Who else sets up multiple aliases to play their games on a free site. Theo, i'm sat on my hands until I see the green shoots of recovery or 4500.

I aim to put the other half in and not worry about the bottom, if we start to find a base I'll add on the way up.

There is huge long term value here so i'm equally happy if we rise or fall.

set it up in 94. Most of my clients have retired early because they've exceeded the LTA. As usual the govt changed the rules this budget - but it was many years too late. Most of my GP clients retired at least 5 years early. Morale is shocking, many have left to work overseas. Very sad.

I assume you bought Metro yesterday by the change in tone ?

My clients are nearly all G.Ps and Consultants, I mange money for Docs. It waste and bureaucracy at the heart of the problem. The money is good but the morale is dreadful after many many years of change in direction and underfunding. It's still the best in the world by a mile though.

The overreaction on corona is purely to stop the NHS melting down, it would be catastrophic so in effect the markets have suffered to protect the NHS. Once it wakes up to the exact quantum of the problem it will recover. 2-4 weeks is my guess.
