Everyone is touchy on here so let me make it clear I have 12% of my portfolio long for THG and my target to sell is 2.30 a share which I am sure I will get soon.

But if you click above on "THG Short Positions" you wil see they have increased by quite a bit today.

Shorts are up. Thats never good.

It is worth saying however if thre was certaintly that this share is going to zero there would be a lot more short positions than there are. Look at them. They have been reducing steadily over the last month or so. That has to tell you something.

Its a gamble - I took the gamble. I will see if its paid off in 3-6 months. I'll either have nothing or will have made a fair whack. Either way the movements of the last 3 weeks will mean nothing. Relax. Wait. Then see. Stop listening to people who think a drop of 50% is a drop of 100% then say they were "write all along". Do yourself a favour. Leave it alone and look at the sahre rpice again in 3 months time. Then say either "woohoo" or " ah well". If you've put too much money on to do this then reduce your stake when you get a chance over the next couple of weeks.

No open short positions. When I start seeing short positons open then I 'll worry. Until then I'm relaxed.

They tell the true story. Declining declining declining. If the market was confident this isnt going to recover and will drop further those short positions would not keep declining like they are.

They arent trying. They are succeeding in mugging people off.

I dont know if this is reliable but the short positions listed above on THG appear to be falling rapidly and are at their lowest level for ages. I reckon that means something doesnt it?

Made a packet today when it recovered. I'm hoping it will fall again so I can stock up again at bargain prices.

back up tp 10% of pension on this. Will reduce to 5% when this gets back up this afternoon. I like this game.

Not really. I sold high and bought more shares at a lower price. I cant see whats a bad move about that.

My new rule is find an undervalued stock. Check the short positions. If there is a lot wait until there isnt then invest. Its a shame you have to do that but they seem to completely run teh market and bypass any logic. Case in point THG and Boohoo. Both massively undervalued but neither will rise until the shorts pull out. The press are all complicit in this game.

Its being shorted. Thats the difference. Its being shorted to hell and the shorts are increasing. The UK stock exchange is compltely run by shorters. So many undervalued stocks but they wont go up until the city boys stop playing their games. Something needs to chage it makes a mockery of our market.

When I see the short positions coming down I will invest until then I'm waiting. This share is being manipulated to hell. It is massively undervalued that is clear but they have the power to manipulate the market and I dont. Its wrong but it is how it is.
