Lots of understandably upset people on here but I really think a little calm and collective thought it needed here.

It’s not a surprise that the share tanked yesterday when the time limit ended for the offers.

The offers were too low and weren’t accepted this was always going to be a possibility with the golden share still being held by MM.

I myself had the voice in my head saying why didn’t I sell at 150 and break even (that’s my average now) but I had told myself I’d wait for 220 and I’m sticking to that. I think it will come it will just take longer now. Yes I could have sold out and bought more now but I didn’t have a crystal ball and I could have missed the jump if an offer was accepted so I’m not annoyed with myself.

I think there probably is a strong chance that MM was testing the market to see what people are willing to pay and where the price point is that they pull out. This will give him some idea of what he needs to pay to take it private. This is clearly what he wants to do but he now knows what it will cost and what capital he needs to raise. I think this is probably what we will see later this year if not sooner. Yes it’s horrible seeing the red but I’m still holding this I don’t think it’s over by a long shot.

The fall today was definitely not just the whole market falling it was just thg get out while you can before you lose your house and you have to sell your kids.

The price went down today oh no no that means there’s not going to be a deal and we are all going to lose all our money oh my god oh no no news we are all going to go bankrupt and everyone is going to start shorting this again.

No Heres hopin do not ignore the RNS read the RNS and realise it is saying exactly the same as the last RNS. Nothing has changed hence the title of this thread. The title of this thread was not "ignore the RNS" you may notice.

No mate I’m no jealous. When the price went up I sold and took profits. If the price goes down much further I’ll buy some more but not too much on the off chance this resolves. I feel no need to seek any praise or vindication on this board. I get it right more often than I get it wrong and make appropriate risks. Sometimes I get it wrong but these don’t result in huge losses because I take appropriate risks. I don’t come on here pretending to have a crystal ball like these sad baaastaaards.

So the last rns said we can’t pay debts due to sanctions and we may need to sell assets and shareholders may not get a return. I bought shares after this for a gamble. Just 2 % of my portfolio as it’s a complete punt. This rns basically says the same thing in stronger terms. Nothing has changed. It remains a punt. All this flapping and mobs saying “I told you so” what? You said what most sensible people already knew from the rns last time. Big deal well done you can read. Warren Buffett you ain’t. Why are people wetting the bed over small movements at small volumes?

There’s obviously some people on here trying to wind people up to make bad emotional decisions.

The price is not doing anything it hasn’t been doing the last few days.

Low volume buys and sells equals ignore the price movements.

What shorts? Its at its lowest level in a very long time. Nearly all shorts have already exited.

I know it shouldnt matter - you should sell on future prospects not on your hitoric prices but even so! No more THG red - for now!
