Well, given I am still 80% down it did not seem to be appropriate to chat anything positive.
No I have not sold any HE1 shares at all and I am only still in as I can't face the realisation of my losses and will be in until the end.

Looks like to moderators mistakenly let through some useful information, interesting read and highlights other factors to be taken into account when assessing the viability of a discovery of >= 0.5 Helium.

I am a LTI (well over 2 years) and until a couple of weeks ago or so never seen any chats from neil777, but he now dominates the board with 50 odd chats a day (pretty much either repeating what he previous chatted or insulting people)
I find it very annoying (I am sure I am not the only one) having to scroll through a dearth of b..ocks to locate some informed opinion.
All the people on here are bemoaning losing thousands of pounds (I have lost ~17k) why not do something positive and donate to a Christmas charity.
I donated yesterday to a few charities on the understanding that I will not get a financial return but satisfaction wise it was a multi-bagger.
Remember there are lots of people/children who don’t have a roof over their heads and are going hungry over the Xmas period whilst we live in relative luxury.
Have a good Xmas all.
We were all looking at the rig at the compound when we should have been looking at the cash pile.
Approx 6 weeks ago Sentinel (a little cloudy) image seems to show a large pile of cash around 4M X 4M (I am guessing around 7 or 8 million $) in the NE of the compound.
$ $ $ $
$ $ $ $
$ $ $ $
$ $ $ $
On the next pass of Sentinel (some low-lying cloud) two weeks later this pile of cash seems to shrunk to
Around 2M X 2M ((I am guessing around 3 or 4 million $)
$ $ $ $
$ $ $ $
Two weeks latter (gloomy conditions) it seems to have vanished.:)
Ezhik , Concrete cures under water. -> Correct
I worked in materials testing lab when I was a lad and we stored the concrete cubes
(supplied for testing) in big baths of water.
Once the concrete is initially set (couple of days) concrete cures more consistently
in water.
How many rig crew do you need to change a roughneck
- One to hold the roughneck and 59 to turn the rig.
Although I do not have any mining/rig experience I am beginning to get more experience than I would like on losing money.

Stephen Jay Gould: The invalid assumption that correlation implies cause is probably among the two or three most serious and common errors of human reasoning.
Instead of awarding share options to directors it may have been more fair/positive to say to directors for every share you buy now (skin in the game) you get 5 free options at the same price.
This may have addressed some of the concerns that have been raised about directors only having a small investment in the company.
I worked for a very large investment bank for over 25 years (as a software developer so only picked up rudimental knowledge of investment banking) and that was the model that they used, unfortunately my options expired after 10 years as they did not show a profit in that time period, I still have the shares that are now double what they were.
I have been invested in HE1 for around 3 years and picked up some more shares fairly recently.
Over the last 3 years there have been long periods of inactivity and little comms but now with the drill spud imminent I would have thought more updates would be flowing from HE1.
If HE1 provided a bit more info we would not have all this constant speculation/theories/rumours on this chat as the only people who know what is going on are HE1. Many times, on this chat channel an opinion is either proven/debunked by refereeing back to previous HE1 comms.
Additional comms may impact the sentiment of share holders and the share price may reflect that (up or down) but at least it will be on the basis of facts.
Just seen this, not sure if this has been reported previously on this chat as it is the first time I have had a look
Marks & Spencer (M&S) is closing in on a deal to buy Jaeger, the loss-making fashion brand which fell victim to the coronavirus pandemic late last year.
Sky News has learnt that M&S could sign an agreement to acquire Jaeger as soon as this week.
I have only been dabbling in shares over the last couple of years and l have been surprised that loses have been harder to bear egotistically rather than financially.
It is easier to top up your account (assuming you are dabbling) than your pride, but a couple of weeks latter that is all forgotten (well by me anyway) and it's onto another investment.
I am reluctant to sell, more due to the time invested rather than the value and I believe that could be said for other posters on the BB as it crystallises a bad decision and no one wants to admit that.
