Guam houses 3 strategic military bases and is 1600 miles east of Manilla. A prime target for Chinese and North Korean attacks, even though nuclear-powered and nuclear armed subs operate from there. Serious storm damage makes everything a little less stable... Xi will be watching and is likely to put on a bit of a show if it makes him look good at home; but the nuke armed subs will always be a threat.

Guam in line for a direct hit / maybe a bit north. The last direct hit was in the sixties and the damage was worse than that caused by the Americans fighting the Japanese in the 2nd WW - 95 of buildings were destroyed.
