I read this story yesterday, but did not see at the time that it was a company that received seed money from NVIDIA.

Your statement of "When everyone is liquidated then you buy." is a bit confusing; are you now predicting that UKOG are going bankrupt and that you will be buying the assets from the liquidator?

That is quite a change in position from fully funded for all projects just yesterday.

Financing and corporate update

AMTE Power Plc (AIM: AMTE) ("AMTE Power" or the "Company"), a leading developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cells for specialist markets, today announces a further update to its financing position.

Further to its announcement on 15 June 2023 (the "Announcement"), the Company continues to be in discussions with potential investors concerning raising further finance.

However, given the passage of time since the Announcement, it is now considering all credible options, including a sale of the Company's business, in relation to which FRP Corporate Finance is advising, in order to act in the best interest of all stakeholders in the Company. At this stage, the Company is not actively pursuing a sale of the Company itself.

Whilst active discussions are ongoing with various parties, there can be no certainty of the outcome of these discussions.

Accordingly, in light of AMTE Power's reducing cash position, should the Company be unable to secure additional funding within no less than the next three weeks, the prospects for recovery of value, if any, by shareholders would be uncertain.

My first thought was OK - this is a Germany problem because higher energy costs increased prices and made them less competitive. But, No; it is affecting the industry world-wide and with some speciality chemicals demand is far less price sensitive as suppliers are not easily replaced in a buoyant economy.

The turnaround is getting there but most of the increase in earnings seems baked into the share price already. Not complaining though... hopefully progress will continue.

Probably drop on the flood of early sells and then people will average down / grab a bargain etc... Then in a few months time those new buyers could get membership to the Exclusive RED Club.
