The West wants India to buy the oil [on the cheap], as it reduces the money going to Putin's coffers. If they were to enforce a ban on Ruzzian oil being sold, then there would be a serious shortage and oil would be over $200 a barrel. We would all be in deep trouble.

The Ruzzian invasion of Ukraine may change India's stance on Ruzzian arms as there are serious supply problems, India wants better US relationships and over reliance on one supplier has been shown to be fool hardy:

You can drill down from Ars Enic to Zirconium... I did not know how much Zirconium is needed for Hydrogen production; the IEA forecast is demand increasing from 0.5kt in 2022 to 6kt in 2030. An 11 fold increase in demand!

Quite alarming to listen to the warnings from insiders of what a second term could bring... It sounds potentially very, very bad for the US economy.
