Hydrogen is needed for the steel industry... And, do not be surprised if GOV increase taxes to make diesel a more expensive choice.

And ammonia is needed for the shipping industry... if you liked making money as much as trying to wind people up, you would see there is a massive market opening up. Finding winners in it is another story...

Solar electricity can now be compared to $20/barrel oil (assuming 40% efficiency converting oil to electricity). Given that actual oil trades for multiples of that in 2023, it is clear that (large) energy consumers will find a way to shift to that $20 price point somehow.

1 - it is about time that Labour started saying that promises need to wait until they see just how much of a mess that the CONservatives leave for them;

2 - the 'triple lock' does not ensure 'spending power will not be diminished over the course of someone’s retirement'; we are not all affected by inflation equally, nor do we suffer from fuel price fluctuations the same. And, it is not as though the triple lock applies to private pensions...

I do not know if this claim is true, but it is being repeated by most media outlets today:

'A fully charged e-bike battery can release a similar amount of stored energy as the amount of TNT (an explosive) contained in six hand grenades, the charity estimates, posing a significant safety risk.'

All I know is the GOV are being lapse in their oversight of something that really matters; surely this would appeal to their anti-woke vote winning strategy?
