Good luck to everyone that stayed in. AIM works in funny ways and it definitely pays to be bold, otherwise we might as well split our folio into 20 ftse 100's and hope it averages out at 5% a year - no thanks. Even though we are suspended I still think the board will remain quiet until deals are signed and sorted. Last thing we want is a hype fest followed by a good asset that's not seen as good enough due to unrealistic hype. Looking forward to the journey.

I was speaking to a friend who is a dreaded mm (only deals in ftse 100 though) about the looming suspension and was wondering how mm's will play it. He told me since they make their money on the spread by buying and selling shares, they will not want a chunk of money held in a suspended share. It makes sense why we had a huge drop on the suspension rns as mm's will of just wanted to get rid of their holding. Shares are probably tight now, hence the rise even on low valued trades. The interesting time will be when (if) we exit suspension with a great asset. MM's won't have shares, pi's won't want to sell cheaply, and the result could see a few days where the sp really lets loose. Getting a bit far ahead of myself, I know, but interesting none the less. Last time for a top up today but I'm happy with my holding. Will be nice not having to look at the sp everyday.

Similar thoughts to me. Also, look how many aim stocks hit 1p - almost all of them, regardless of how good the asset is. Mainly because there is always hype and huge expectations surrounding new assets until reality sets in on poor governance or technical difficulties etc which makes development harder. For gwik to hit 1p we would only need a mcap of £25m, which is very achievable in the oil and gas sector. Especially just to hit the 1p, harder to hold it there and likely to fall back into the 0.5 range. If it hits 1p then I get a nice 100k cheque. That's the life changing benefits of a shell and getting in early. Worst case scenario I lose 3/4K but that sort of money comes and goes in a few days when investing in aim. Exciting times.

Got about 8 million shares as a bit of a punt, only wish I got them with an average 0.045! Really tempted to pop 5k in here. The worst case scenario is in about 8 months I'll get back maybe 3k (that's worst case, I may get back 4.5k or so). But the potential return from here on any money is substantial.

Also, as stated so many times on this forum, an asset is worth nothing unless you can get it out the ground. There's oil and gas all over the world with many companies not having the money to get it out. Give half it away, let someone else run it and in 1/2/3 years they could own half an extremely valuable company. Or they could not do a deal and let their exploration license run out. Jaap, Joana and Amanda are involved and with the lure of aim fundraising along the line, it's a very attractive proposition. Doesn't take much to get a company pumped up to £11m mcap on AIM after initial hype. Granted holding a sp above it may be trickier but I'll be gone.

Wasn't sure how this would pan out going into suspension, might of had a small rise in anticipation or might of plummeted due to uncertainties. We're going to go in at cash value and that makes sense. No point selling now. Drop today is probably down to having less cash reserves. Not quite sure how we have spent £100k in two months when nobody is taking a salary and we only have one consultant who is on a modest amount. Lots of travelling looking at assets I assume, which is good news. 'Hopeful' is a poor choice of word in an rns and I think this was probably down to our nomad who seems to ensure the worst possible rns is written. Still only tells us what we already knew. 'Talks at an early stage' is a good hint not to expect news within the next couple of weeks. Once a deal has been struck then it will move quickly. I'm guessing maybe around the start of October. If an asset is secured then anyone holding now will at least 3 bag as a given. I'm still holding for a 10 bag from here. 0.5/0.6 is still only £12m mcap and I'm sure the initial target was for a £8m mcap. Obviously increasing once news flow begins.

Decent day on very low volume. Didn't expect much to happen. Next week will be very interesting, could well see a decent amount of punt money coming over here. Likewise some may not want to be involved in a suspension.

Board have six months to get in an asset or achieve a rto. It is much likely to be a lot quicker than that, I can see it maybe taking an extra few weeks. However our board won't be rushed into a deal that isn't of quality. It means we will be locked in and unable to trade. When an asset is secured we will re-list - there will be plenty of warning. Gwik will then be given a new mcap based on the perceived value of the rto. Doubt this will be too high - maybe 0.2/0.3 but from there expect big gains and quickly. If news is bad then rto could be a flop and re-list back in at similar levels (most unlikely outcome in my opinion). Otherwise, no asset/rto within six months and Gwik will cease trading with money returned to shareholders minus associated costs, which would be minimal. The board doesn't have to wait six months if it learns sooner that a deal won't happen they may wind it up prompt. From these levels you won't lose money. Genuine 10 bagger from here would still be a modest mcap. We were trading at 0.17 before suspension last time so can only imagine the sp post-deal. We have some great people involved, a good amount of cash, access to a lucrative fund raising market and targeting a sector that is on it's knees but showing strong signs of recovering (perfect time to buy).

The calm before the storm? ..... Safe to say everyone has probably taken their positions now.

What is most attractive about gwik is our low valuation. It's priced on cash. Any acquisition or rto, however good or bad, will see us at multiples of today's share price. It won't take much to get a £5m mcap and that's up .2p or so. There's been a few high profile failed rto's on AIM recently but that's mainly been down to shareholders needing a £10/20m valuation post rto. I've substantially topped up from began as a punt. When the same thing is on offer but for much less, that is when to buy more. Interesting Zac Mir predicting a retest of 0.15 in the next month. Guess it's a bit pointless because either we will be suspended awaiting acquisition or we will have an acquisition and previous performance will have little meaning. Look forward to next two weeks with GWIK. Going to be one of those shares everyone wished they got in. I'm sounding a bit rampey just now but it's Friday and I'm on holiday next week so can you blame me. Atb.

I believe Petroz was a 100% acquisition for Dempsey and for very little money (4 million shares plus 500k dollars). So no reason why we couldn't do the same, which would be great for our shareholders. It was subject to Jaap joining their board - none of it has happened yet he has joined ours. Can see this happening as it will be Jaap holding negotiation talks with Jaap. He knows the benefits a good deal will bring to GWIK and therefor his future prospects. Very interesting. Still fully believe we will get an acquisition/rto and the people involved wouldn't be doing this for a 4/5m mcap. 1p target, sell out 50% at 0.4.

There has been 21 different 5,000,000 trades all gone through as sells today. Many of which came in consecutive trades within seconds of each other, most under 0.519 so would assume they are sells. Very strange. With 2 10,000,00 sells. This brings the volume of these trades to 125,000,000 - just 7,000,000 short of Browntown's holdings. Been dumped? Could well be and wouldn't be a bad thing. Perhaps what ever information they were given hasn't worked out and these guys don't want to risk suspension so have jumped out at the same price they entered? Certainly explains today's fall as that is a lot of sells.

Looking forward to the next two weeks. JP and AvD are now running the company and this was only going to happen once an asset has been selected and the deal sorted. Finalising the deal to reportable terms could take a week or two, but sure it will happen in August. I've taken my position with a 0.1 average which I'm more than happy with - ended up being a great thing the previous asset falling through (whether it was our choice or if it was the nomads, depending who you believe). Deals are tricky things, even companies in distress don't want to give away their assets on the cheap but the current climate allows for this. Perfect timing for a shell company to rto with a couple of great people on board to add value as well as the cash we have in the bank and then the chances of raising money at higher mcap on the market. It's true that aim hasn't had it's annual 88e type story and I've placed my bet that it will be gwik. Such a low mcap will mean a 10 bagger is easily achievable. Likewise it may not happen, but that's why it is a bet. At the moment the risk is high and the rewards is reflected in that. Certainly the only way to make money on aim is to invest in a company that has the management and asset to deliver (extremely rare on aim) or to beat the heard, ride the wave and sell out, which is my plan here.

Went against what I had said previously and couldn't resist a decent top up here. Bargain prices. I've learned that you can't beat them so join them. Anyway, what's turned a small punt could now be potentially significant in my folio and I'm quite excited by that. Fully believe we will have an asset and worst case scenario will probably be a 4/5million mcap. Best probably 30/40mcap after news flow of exploration/ production. So lots of upside.

It's clear what the sp should be, it just isn't clear how the market will react. Personally I would be annoyed at missing profit because they have handed my money back. Which makes me think just to buy back in asap is best. You would imagine most shareholders wouldn't bother to sell their remaining 10% of shares. So there will be little selling pressure and I struggle to understand where I'll be able to buy the quantity of shares I would like (to bring my financial interest to the same level as now). That morning is going to be a mad time - thinking it through, normal pi are likely to lose out on a re-rate.

Is whether to re-invest as soon as the capital is returned or to hold out and see where the sp settles. Can't help but think the sp will fall way below where it should and provide a good buying opportunity. Hard to predict, but even taking just the cash into consideration and no value to any of the businesses, then buying at under £1 post consolidation will be a bargain. It should be more like £1:50/£2 easily. Need to sit down and work this out. I wish the board would give the investors a chance to know the potential future of Watchstone before the capital return. Otherwise it's a blind investment. Have to admit that if I could buy back in for 10p rather than £1, then I'd be more likely to (I know it makes no difference as it is the mcap that matters).

I think the board have done well holding back money through 2016 - it will definitely keep people invested. I have held since March or so and intend to do so for another year until we start seeing the plan come to fruition. I hope further cash distribution in 2016 only applies to those holding from the 11th November (or whatever date is chosen). Could mean a larger payment to those that remain loyal. Not posted in ages as all my shares are largely doing as expected. Look forward to 2016 and deciding where to put this money. I hope the board convince me enough to put it back in QPP.

Keeping a close eye on this one. Popped it into my virtual folio, looks like it will have legs given the shear amount of contacts within the company. Already many contracts in place with majors.

I'm in FTE, so paying close attention to them. Stumbled on you guys today and noticed your having a cracking day. Read your rns and unsure what it is about from an outsider perspective. Price hasn't moved from 3.33 since I first saw it a while ago. What's expected here?
