RE: Re - RTO17 Nov 2016 12:25
I've written this reply twice and for one reason or another it hasn't been posted. Third time lucky!
Just to clarify, Cameron Pearce is no longer involved with GWIK. He resigned from the board and isn't a major shareholder. He resigned at the same time Jaap Poll and Amanda van Dyke joined as non-exec directors - it was clear CP's way of dealing didn't work with their methods.
In terms of the i3 investment, I believe it has been a very opportunistic and shrewd move - probably down to AvD's contact list. We are in the process of due diligence and have been presented an offer that almost guarantees the doubling of our £1.2m by the year's end. That money would otherwise have sat in the bank. It also provides a genuine safeguard for investor's and gives the board a less pressurized suspension (with that a better bargaining position for rto's).
If rumour is believed then GWIK will either, a) give shareholders their proportion of i3, b) give half out and use original £1.2m for rto or c) use all money for rto. My preference and I assume the boards, will be to use all that money for an rto.
£2.4m, plus an aim listing, plus our boards mining and financial expertise will give GWIK a great base to do a serious rto. I'm happy with our i3 investment but in terms of upside, we (shareholders) may double or triple our original investment depending on averages. I know we are all here for the shell company/rto/multi-bagging play and therefore would love for the board to take this enlarged sum and re-invest it. In terms of what is in it for them, surely making something out of GWIK will have far far bigger gains than simply investing early stage IPO.
JP, AvD etc aren't here for pennies or to fill up some time in their schedules - they are here to make money and we can follow them for the ride. Fully expect news by end of November on i3, assuming Q4 16 ipo target on track. From there we will understand better our boards intent but won't be surprised if we here nothing until end of Q1 17 as due diligence and strategies are worked out. Remember until i3 IPO then we don't actually know how much money we have. May be £2m, may be 3 or 4.
Good luck all.
