If we believe our director then when funding is secured we should be worth £110m. Roughly 3 times our current mcap. So 200p sp seems reasonable to assume. This is a genuine 10 bagger over the next year and I think two or three of those can be expected on funding and another one or two on 30th licensing. We won’t hang about to drill and that is exciting. Buying a flat and need to sell some of my shares for the deposit. Needless to say I’m happy with any delays by our solicitors.

I’m not sure why people think it’s a bad deal. We are a minnow and have a free carry now on one or two drills. That’s massive and even owning 15% is huge. Funding is such a massive issue for small cap explorers. Would people rather we were diluted 50% to fund it? Essentially that is the alternative. That would mean we own 50% less of every other oil field and income in the future. Far better selling off some of one field and get oil on the books. Following wells will then be funded from earnings. There is a lack of simple business understanding on these forums that is quite shocking. Not a surprise 90% of people lose money. Usually the ones posting 10 times a day.

Crudely working out based on barrels of oil and associated npv or barrels of oil per day produced, both estimates end up over the billion pound mark. Giving i3e a share price of £30, assuming no dilution. That would make me a millionaire. Well worth the journey I say.

A realistic target of £100m mcap after funding news would bring the sp to around 300p. Already over a 10 bag having bought between 32 and 24p. That’s it only getting started. Can easily see £500m+ in H2 2019 when second field comes into production.

90% of aim is full of nonsense business models - unfortunately these tend to be the ones that are most talked about on investment websites and podcasts. I had a strategy that was to begin with around 20 different stocks. Only by being a shareholder do you really get a sense of the company. Over two years I sold ones I didn't like (or made my target price) and have ended up with only 3 aim shares. ECO, I3E and BCN. All three are very good companies with good boards and good partners in the industry - this industry validation is crucial. The last 6 months have been excellent with these three and I haven't sold any of them.

Can’t help but think Total got an exceptional deal farming in 25% at that price. However need to remind ourselves of Eco being a small company and the cost of two drills being covered is huge. I can’t see Eco being around much more than a year. We will be picked up.

No matter how much people try to tie these stocks together, their path is independent. They are both totally different investments. One is a completely sound long term investment, the other is a lifestyle company for their directors. I get the kdnc “story” but if you like lithium just buy bcn and/or emh. I’m not in emh myself.

Looking very good here - one of my three large holdings on aim (bcn, i3e and eco). Very pleased with bacanora and the long wait is being rewarded now. Can see a steady rise from here on (after this initial re-rating). Agree with consensus on board that this will be sold, just a question of when and for how much. There is no way this is going cheap and capping all investors at 20% is very wise. I'd be disapointed with anything under 500p within the next year or two. Lets just get this funding sorted and if it goes well then we will be on a clear run to production (or premium takeover).

Abermarle bought Rockwood for $6 billion and that was before the lithium boom. Prices have doubled since. I agree and fully expect to be bought over before production and see the value being in the billions. A lithium deal at $12,000 per tonne and 35,000 per annum gives $420m revenue and possibly $245m profit (assuming 5k costs which is generous). These big mining companies will happily pay 2 or 3 billion now (in 2018/2019) for those returns.

The market expects the fs within a month and financing to be announced simultaneously. Should that happen then who knows where the sp will be post Christmas. Financing is the single biggest hurdle for a mine, it's a serious amount of money. We are lucky to have a short payback time, due to strength of lithium. Hopefully there will not be huge dilution and much of the money is loans or upfront contracts. Genuinely unsure where the sp will end up. By production I think it will be around £2b and I see BCN being bought out for 3 or £4b. That's the end game and it's just a matter of waiting. Majors will wait until it's up and running so 2019 earliest. Anyway, a lot of conjecture there. Be nice when we break and hold the pound.

2018 should be good. Only have a modest stake of my folio in Eco - thought at 20m it was about correct value wise. Obviously upside as progress to drills but thought it might drift. Not the case. Just need to decide if Eco should come a bigger part in my folio. Gil definitely talks well and I like the business plan - essentially no dilution for shareholders. A rareity on aim. Company seems to be good at marketing and understand the use of podcasts/ investor events. We also have some great partners and great prospects. Never want to buy after a rally but perhaps this will be a slow continual rise. Looking forward to Easter and buy then having a clearer picture of targets and drilling campaign. Might hold off a week or two before deciding on a top up.

Gil Holzman was on the Vox markets podcast on thursday talking about 3d seismic survey. He said they are looking at over 1 billion barrels recoverable oil. Survey will take 40 days then a bit of time to interpret - will hear results in Sep/Oct and be drill ready by next year. Can't imagine Tullow will hold back from sinking a well asap.

Good company with a good management team. Their not interested in rinsing shareholders. 3D seismic results in a couple of months and drill ready by end of the year. Looks like it could be comparable to Liza discuby Exxon - would be a major asset for Tullow and would completely transform Eco Atlantic. This is a definite hold and wait.

Amazes me how little volume there is in Eco. I wonder if just nobody knows about us. There was a good bit of pr when we listed. Wonder how companies usually generate the hype and press to get known. Can see this staying under the radar until 3-d results come out. Got a decent holding here now - can see huge upside in Guyana. If there's oil where we think then a valuation in the hundreds of millions is likely.

Good spot and very interesting. I've built a reasonable holding in Eco. They have a great strategy and seem to really know what they are doing. Eco seems to have slipped under the radar of everyone at the moment and I'm just waiting for things to kick off. I guess it will be once there is an announcement of 3-d seismic starting - I believe it starts in April. £20m mcap, potentially massive resource, carried by Tullow for most of 3-d anf first well ($45m). Solid company and happy to hold this through to and beyond drilling at start of 2018.

Orlando oil field? Iona Energy never did conclude the sale. No idea what the legal implications are of selling an asset to your next new business while in administration. Neill Carson probably no longer has much say. A new company with funding and no debt is extremely attractive just now in o&g. Liberator + Orlando and i3energy could be looking at some serious numbers. Orlando could be funded from liberator profits.

Just has to happen before 7am on Monday I believe... but I also thought you would get a one week notice before de-listing. Guess rules about notifying shareholders change whilst in suspension. Either way, will know in the next few days. I'm on i3's mailing list for IPO announcement. Will post if I here anything.

Eco Atlantic have seemed to go under the radar but a good solid start to trading on AIM. Lots of large sells as expected from the placing. Once 3d is underway in q2, expect to see a rise. £20m market cap seems a very reasonable entry for an o&g explorer about to go from exploration into appraisal. Remember there has been a lot of time already spent on these licences and Tullow/Eco have decided to go full steam ahead, bringing forward their development plan. Eco also fully funded for 18 months and getting free carry on most of 3d and first well. Even 1/4 of the size of Liza would be an amazing result.

Have to admit it is a very exciting play. Mainly i3. If Liberator produces the 8,000bopd then I think that would command a market cap at £580m (8000 bopd x 365 days x 20 profit x 10 p/e). Considering i3 will have zero debt to service, they will be able to acquire similar near production fields with the profit very quickly. I believe i3 will have raised £40m, of which we will have equivalent of 0.1 per share. I think it could easily come in 20% up on first day with a market cap of near £50m. Indicates within a year we could see a 10 bagger. Really exciting play and can't wait to see who is on our share register after IPO. No mean feat raising $45m.

I don't know the official protocol for these things, but I think companies usually give a notice a week before a de-list (much like they give a notice a week before suspension). So we should hear something next week and I'm hoping for more of an update. We are tied when it comes to i3, so our board won't be able to tell us anything. Cora Gold should have an update of some kind. Even if it is just a 'things are progressing well'. The interesting thing with Cora Gold is that we may all only have £1k or even less but if they list at £1m or £2m then the multiples could be very rewarding. My suspicion is it will come good, but could take 6 months to a year for something to happen. I'll probably just let my investment in it run. AVD seems to spot good small caps.
