It's possible that Lansdowne are selling their major stake because of their bad year as it's possible that they are selling for other reasons , Nobody knows except them !
Now having said that , it's nearly always a bad indicator for market watchers to see major shareholders selling before results are due .

Whatever their reasons , their stake is being bought without a major drop in the SP so we will just have to wait and see what happens next .....

Alpha , beta, gamma etc

The Interferon pathway is complex and all the different types and subgroups have different roles to play in the immune system ..

One has to be very careful about drawing conclusions from clinical trials without understanding the differences in the interferon family ...

It's like saying I drive an Audi ....Ok great but there is a big Difference between a A1 and a Q7.

The ´ standard of care ´ patients will be the key factor , one cannot judge this encouraging Honk Kong test with the ongoing Southampton trial as there are major differences between the two

The in house clinical trial is interesting but one has to stay factual

Dosing of interferon beta was not consistent with a real clinical trial protocol as they were worried about the safety issue ...

Only a real clinical trial will be able to answer many of the remaining questions , imv

As you can see from the studies that are coming out, it would be foolish not to ponder on the role played by alpha and beta . No doom and gloom intented .
Most people don't realise the difference unless they have some ´ background ´

Fine tuning the interferon is what the Lyon study is saying so administration timing is what it's about and knowing if people need alpha or beta or both and how to rid the system of over production later , imv

It all comes back to my initial query about testing people for their interferon signature ...

Anyway as always said, what will work for certain patient populations won't work on others so it's now a question of % , imo
