IF you had taken the time to read the article you would have seen that this is a renewal of a four year contract between AStra and the research group

Renewal means what ?

Astra have been financing the group since 2016 so what came first , the chicken or the egg. ??

Saying that someone who is the principal investigator in the Synairgen trial and who is a consultant with Southampton hospital might have possible conflict of interests with Astra ?

Is he employed by Astra or Synairgen ? No

I agree that the effects will take time to be absorbed, any many will have suffered from the economic consequences of this virus as well as the sanitary problems but also looking at the other side of the coin ..
We have never spent as much time and effort to focus on our health and our priorities :-)
I would hope that these efforts will pay off in the future .

We have to protect the most vulnerable Whilst learning to live with the risk. We should'nt forget that 80-90 % of people catching the virus only have very minor responses to the infection ....
