Clearly znwd carries more risk at the mo, but the MCAP is lower and carries higher reward. I personally couldn't bring myself to put more than £500 into znwd and see it as a 6 month punt.

EMH is promising enough to cause an international incident and took two years of EU wrangling. Cez (state owned no less) see fit enough to sink £30m into it straight off the bat, so I'm basically up to my personal maximum (20%) limit on my portfolio here. Just imagine the Czech govt accountants doing the diligence on that spend..

EMH has £400+m MCAP written all over it by 2024.

Took a small (lose able) punt on ZNWD last week, based on the assumption of similar mineral and process. In addition the Germans will want a local mine.

Obviously a smaller holding than EMH, as the lithium in the ground is multiples higher in scale.

My UK based 'overseas funds' seem stable and normal, but EMH & SYNC are both showing as 0p with all the normal holdings.

I've just realised, like a chuffing dork, I've been following the market on and off 10am to 4pm, without realising the LSE closed at 12:30pm!!! What a spectacular fail.

Graking, kinda depends on how you look at that question. You are asking a primarily spodumene focussed question, in which the basic answer is "low % lithium content" (from recollection 0.5% ish).

However, that is ignoring the quirk of Zinnwaldite, which is that the mica can be magnetically and gravitationally separated. Resulting in an end content of 2-3% following simple and common mining extraction techniques.

I'm not entirely sure how the EU battery alliance wishes to help fund mining projects.

They have shown a healthy interest in helping to provide derisked finance for large scale battery assembly/manufacturing. I have not seen any specific funding strategies for the actual miners.

Rio Tinto is large enough to figure that out itself. EMH has obvious strategic interest, with perhaps Zinnwald on the German side allowing healthy competition and dual sources for the region. My best guess at the moment, is that the EU will facilitate an offtake forward fund from the battery manufacturers it is helping to fund. How this works in practice I have no idea.

When did he post? As always, timing will be key, if he posted that 1 hour before NASDAQ opening, it would suggest he is either selling clickbait on newsflow, or trying to arrange panic selling for his chums to buy on the NASDAQ.

I have never found Tom trustworthy. There was usually a friend who stood to gain/lose from his positions.
